When I first saw this unit I wondered how well it would work. I was willing to take a chance for the black Friday price of $79. It is like stepping back in time with a modern twist. It works like an old boom box, but has all the new features of being a Bluetooth speaker. I love having a stereo as part of the experience and a tape player as well. The unit allows you to plug in a thumb drive and a micro SD card to play music off of, which haven't tried but it's a cool feature. The only con that I have experienced so far is that the instructions say that you can't use the unit while charging it, which seems odd. It would be nice if it allowed you to plug it in and continue to use it while it is charging. I haven't explored all of the functions of this unit yet, but I've very happy with the sound and the functions I have used so far. Also, if you're wondering, you can turn off the LED lights around the speakers if that isn't your thing. I was originally planning on taking this to work because I like it and it's a good conversation piece, but now I want to use it at home as well. So I might just have to go buy another one if they go on sale again. Being a child of the 80's, I would definitely recommend it for those of us that love through that era again.

Such a cool system. It's a radio, tape player, and Bluetooth speaker all in one! The retro look sets this thing apart. I was born in the 80s so this stereo speaks to my nostalgia loud and clear! Not only does it look cool but it works, really well! The sound quality is good, bass is decent, and the FM tuner works great! I love the party lights that can be set to different patterns or turned off all together if you want to be heard but not seen. The only negative I have is that the volume doesn't get real loud. Probably loud enough for most, but I'd be ok if it went up a couple more notches. All in all, LOVE THIS THING!

I received this product for free in return for an honest review. Oh. My. Goodness!!!! My dad had a stereo that looked just like this when I was growing up. But this stereo has LED lights and a 10-hr battery. The sound output is phenomenal and has become a new favorite piece of electronics in the house. I would recommend over and over again!

This boombox is like a blast from the past for anyone who is a product of the 80s. It is awesome!! Not only does it have the nostalgic feel of the boomboxes we grew up with, but it incorporates modern features that make it even cooler! First, the sound quality on this is great! It has bass and treble adjustment, which help enhance the overall listening experience. I love the ability to listen via Bluetooth, but also that it transmits radio and, if you still have any, it will play cassettes. I also really like that this will not shut off when, plugged in, so you can listen for an unlimited time without it turning off due to inactivity. The radio picks up and plays over the air stations with great clarity. An added bonus is the glow lights on the front, which add a stylish twist to your listening (these can be turned off to enhance battery longevity). Finally, I love that this comes with a built-in rechargeable battery, but battery life can also be expanded with D-cell batteries, if you plan to be without charging capability for an extended period of time. Love it and would definitely recommend!

Epic throwback to the golden years of music with the technology of the 21st century. Description fits exactly what I anticipated. It has all the commodities you’d anticipate with Bluetooth and wireless connectivity but also feeds your nostalgic soul for those cassettes we have hidden in the drawers somewhere. Volume gets loud and it battery life is about 8hrs so not the 30hrs promised but I’m sure you could get that at a moderate volume level.

This is all I wanted for Christmas in 1987!!! This Boombox has it all; tape deck, radio, bluetooth, and you can charge it. I think one of the best features are the lights. You can change the colors and even make them flash. The only downside would be the sound. It isn't super loud but this is perfect for a fun evening on your porch. Such a fun and whimsical purchase.

To say I was ecstatic to open this up, would be an understatement. I immediately ran to get a cassette tape (yes, I still own a few) and was so happy to listen to them once again. The buttons for the cassette seem backwards, maybe? The fast forward button looks like rewind and vice versa, as well as the play button, or maybe I just didn't pay attention as a child. This thing has capabilities to play not only cassettes, but the radio (with an actual dial, not digital), pair via Bluetooth and aux cable. The lights make this totally retro. The boombox can be used plugged in, via battery or it is rechargeable. My mind is officially blown. I have not challenged the battery limitations, but have left it unplugged for a few weeks without issue regarding playback. My biggest complaint would be that my old cassette broke when rewinding. While it could just be the old age of the tape, it kind of dampened my excitement. This is totally impractical with the current technology, but is so worth the nostalgia! I'm excited to share a bit of the past with my kids!

Old school boom box but with current technology. Sounds good and the lights are festive. Good value and for those with cassettes this is the one you can get to play on it! Reception is good for the radio function.

Super cute. Love the look and the lights. And it’s not very heavy. I only wish the sound quality was a little better. But i bought this for my mom and she loves it. It’s perfect for what she wanted.

Nice retro look but with cheap knobs plastic buttons and intenna and cassette box but the lights flash alot and give me a headache The radio is mostly static but when you actually find a station or two it's ga good sound but eventually gets static reception also And it is very limited in picking up stations it waivers whether you get a station or not and the bass sound is good and the treble sound is soso on cheap plastic knobs but the volume does not go up very high but that was okay for sitting it next to the bed or on a desk or for privately on the beach I was very disappointed in the quality for the price but it's mostly just an oversized radio that's solid but made with alot of cheap plastic It's not even worth $25.00 And I paid over$ 70.00 with tax for it I'd be better off buying a Sony Samsung or Bosch and know that it will work properly and last longer I'm taking it back to Walmart soon
