I love this ION Retro Glow boom box! Takes me back to the 1980s, listening to my boom box in the yard in the summer listening to the Top 40 countdown! And watching MTV, getting ready to record my favorite music, waiting patiently with my fingers on the Play and Record buttons to get the song from the beginning. So rad! That aside, the lights are awesome, the radio has great reception for all the AM and FM stations in my town, and the sound is really good for playback. I especially like the tape player which allows me to play all my old cassettes (yes, I still have all of mine!) Also, the Bluetooth feature is super cool. I can stream any of my music platforms with no problems. Now, what this Retro Glow Boom Box also has, that I love, is the ability to Record from cassette AND from Bluetooth to either USB or MicroSD. What I learned when doing this is that your destination media (USB or MicroSD) must be formatted in either FAT, FAT32 or exFAT storage formats. NTFS was not recognized by this device. Also, the largest storage capacity for either USB or MicroSD was 64GB. It would not recognize drives larger than that. The rechargeable battery life is also very good so far. I usually charge it fully, then use it until the battery dies before recharging. I usually get 6 to 7 hrs of continuous use. The speakers are great for sitting on the patio, or by the pool, playing tunes. There is a Bass Boost feature, as well as Bass and Treble controls. I get a lot of smiles from people coming over for drinks when I put the music on. Love it!

Love it. Modern features and retro look. Sound is nice. Can record to a micro SD card! Wish it had electronic tuner and that the power button was elsewhere except on the back! Built in rechargeable batteries, but can also use regular batteries. Haven't tried the cassette player yet.

This speaker really is something it's a loud speaker with a pinch of nostalgia. they managed to make a retro replica with modern Bluetooth speakers This brought back so many memories now I'm a millennial and I literally saw the end of the cassette era but I did get to experience the drawer that's full of my parents cassettes so many cherished memories were flowing back As far as aesthetics it's a near solid replica it looks really good I even put mine on display for retro decor. it's so convincing my dad thought I had bought a collectors item. What really impressed me that you don't see now adays it's knobs! It's nice seeing buttons and dials in the touchscreen era the only thing that gives away that its modern are these cool RGB lights the layout of the knobs are labeled well and intuitive to use with a nostalgic simplicity The speakers on the other hand I would just say they are okay. Not really all that. They definitely pack your punch and will definitely be alright at the party. But if you're like me, I'm an audiophile so I have a few speakers to compare to in my home so audio quality wise it's just okay. It could be a little punchier and a little bit more bass especially for the price but it's not so bad if you think they're just paying for it for the aesthetics it's basically just that chill vibe that one speaker you use when you go to the beach where audio quality isn't being paid attention too. it said 30 hour battery but at full blast with the bass boost and all I got about 8 hours in real world use way less than the promised 30 hours does work ok plugged in and also takes batteries for emergencies but the downside is that I can't charge the speaker easily with a power bank like most new speakers because it has a proprietary port when it should have USB C,which can be an issue in natural disasters since this is now the only radio I'm my home to tune into hurricane watch. Battery backup is nice but only gets you through for a while with rechargeable lithium batteries as a back up but there is no battery indicator it does take D batteries but doubt alkaline batteries will last to long. For some reason it also does not have a low battery warning ⚠️ it'll just shut down and stop working with no indication which is kind of annoying. You also get good connectivity options between Bluetooth, aux, SD card, FM/AM radio 📻. This speaker sure has it's benefits and flaws but definitely has great aesthetics wish the audio quality was better but it's ok for bbq or outdoor times when loudness is more important than quality that's honestly why I like it it's loud and cool looking

This thing is so much fun! Our daughter, who has a beats pill in college, absolutely thought this was so cool and fun to use. The Bluetooth is easy to use and the various inputs create a wide variety of listening options. The sound is quite good as well and can adjust treble and bass for your personal preferences. Overall this is a cool gift or purchase!

What an awesome speaker! Definitely unique and one of a kind from what options you have in the current market. It has a CASSETTE option!!! I can't wait to use it. In addition, to bluetooth, USB, SD Card, AUX, and AM/FM radio. It's not too heavy either! Perfect for transport.

I bought this to keep in a classic car bc I did not want to install and wire a radio in the car. I went to a car show and had this In the back seat and the radio got more compliments than the car lol. I do wish it was a bit louder but it’s loud enuf . The handle appears to be metal but it’s plastic and a bit fragile keep that in mind . Overall I really like the Bluetooth speaker.

This boombox takes me back to my teen years in the 80’s! I got it to replace the radio at work and everyone loves it. The sound quality is excellent and the lights add to the fun. I haven’t tried the cassette player yet but the Bluetooth works great. It is also very lightweight.

This boombox is awesome. I love that it has an option to take batteries or to be charged with the rechargeable battery or just simply plugged in. This makes it nice to use in the house or take it to go out by the pool or even the beach. It has enough weight to it that it can withstand a breeze but its not too heavy to transport out and about. The lights around the speakers add to the ambiance when playing music. They are bright and colorful. I love all the options it has such as cassette player, am fm radio using the included antenna allows to pick up a variety of stations and adjust as needed to have station come in clearly. It also has the bluetooth option which is the best. This allows you to connect to your phone or tablet with ease. We love that you can play all your new modern songs on such a retro looking boombox. We absolutely love this product.

Such a cool boombox! I love the retro feel of it, including the fact that it has an actual cassette player. I definitely wasn’t expecting that! I feel like it’s retro and I like that. It has a longer battery life. I can’t wait to take it out for a spin for a picnic or maybe a cookout.

I just got the Ion Retro Glow boombox. The structure & build screams nostalgia. The sound is good and device has lights, card reader, tape deck and Am/Fm & several other modern features. I tried it out at the park & the charge lasted several hours with the light show! This boombox is definitely a conversation piece & excellent product.
