Reheat & cooking settings seem to work very well. Only complaint is that touchscreen doesn't always respond wheh we first tap it to turn on.

We purchased this microwave from Sam's Club. The microwave features a good fan and lighting underneath, which are quite useful. It heats food a bit faster than our old 800-watt GE model. The touch screen and lighting are nice, but it still requires the same cleaning and wiping as any microwave with touch controls. The interior is a decent size and can easily heat family meals. The surfaces appear easy to clean; we haven't soiled the microwave too much since we use food coverings when heating most things. Using the Auto Cook and Sensor Cook functions requires a few more button presses compared to some rival microwaves we've had in the past, and I don't like digging through menus when trying to auto-cook something. I haven't completely gone through the manual yet, which speaks to how relatively straightforward it is to use the microwave for standard tasks. We also have a Samsung range, but aside from adding both devices to the Samsung SmartThings application, we haven't set up any routines or syncing between devices. Overall, this microwave is a really good value for the money. The cost savings of having delivery and basic installation included from Sam's Club is a home run in our book.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received the Samsung microwave on May 15, 2024. I am still in the process of using the different functions that the microwave is able to do. I love the list of foods and microwaving information that is printed on the side of the opening of the microwave as this is very helpful. The popcorn function on the microwave doesn’t work well when using a microwave popper (not the bag popcorn). I’ve used the popcorn sensing function as well as setting the cook time and still have not been able to get the popcorn to pop all the way. I would like it if the control panel was on the side separate from the door. It’s easy to turn the microwave off with it being on the bottom of the door. I do like the look of the microwave. It seems to function well for heating up food and beverages. The inside is large enough to fit bigger dishes in the microwave.

There should be an option to leave the clock on the screen all the time instead of time out. However, the Screen on the microwave stays on (not only the clock but all buttons) the entire time the light is on but seems it should not. So if you leave the light on as a counter light, the screen never goes out. Some easy changes and this would be a great microwave.

Door does not stay open. Swings shut slowly when you are trying to remove food or clean the inside. Samsung and the repair person say this is normal. Has never happened with other microwaves. Was installed less than a month ago and started happening immediately. Microwave is level. Will not purchase again.

I bought this microwave less than two weeks ago and have discovered the "auto-dimming glass" feature is a frustrating problem and huge disappointment. The biggest issue is that once the glass screen automatically dims and goes black couple of minutes after using the microwave, it OFTEN requires MULTIPLE attempts of either touching the glass screen or opening the door to wake the unit up so the function buttons light up and become visible again. Without being able to see the buttons, one absolutely cannot use the microwave. Further, once the buttons do light up again, it OFTEN takes multiple attempts of touching the buttons with significant pressure to get the microwave to recognize the intended commands. This means trying to enter a simple command such as setting the cooking time OFTEN involves an inordinate number of failed presses. As if this impracticality weren't enough, the clock and date display automatically blacks out about two minutes after all the function buttons black out. While it makes sense that the function buttons automatically black out, it makes absolutely NO sense that the time and date display black out as well, and this characteristic cannot be changed. What makes this microwave more expensive than the Samsung ME21DB650012aa model just below it is exactly what makes it WORSE than that model.

I like how it operates, the only thing I have an issues is the light up display it goes away after a few minutes. I wished it would stay on along with the time display.
