I am glad I decided to get this smart model! The first thing I noticed about this microwave is the extra large capacity inside. It easily fits a dinner plate, but has so much clearance you could fit much taller items. The fan has four speeds and each one is so quiet. Even the lowest speed has great airflow and I have found it to be powerful enough to pull steam from the stovetop, up and out. The sensor cook is such a great way to heat up a plate of leftovers during a busy workday at home. It has presets and even recipes that I look forward to trying out. I added the microwave to my SmartThings app and it includes options beyond the functions on the unit. And no more manually changing the display for daylight savings time, it is WiFi connected! You can check energy usage from the smart appliances through the app, even if it reminds you that you spend more time watching tv than using the robotic vacuum or dishwasher. Or maybe that's just me...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this almost for nothing as part of an appliance set. The sleek white glass aesthetic is perfect for my modern and minimalist kitchen! I was debating whether I should give up the over the hood design, but we live in a condo and can't really have a full exhaust with vent, so this was the next best thing. The door is kind of bulky which makes it stick out a little more that the cabinets.

I bought this microwave over a month ago everything is plugged in and set to wifi. Yet I cannot use it. None of the buttons work. I even set a timer with the smart thing app, then go to push the start button and nothing. It is a huge hunk of metal that has a clock on it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked the microwave and worked well for a while. Went to reheat dinner and heard a loud sizzle and my kitchen filled with smoked. It is now sitting in the front lawn. There was no metal in the microwave and the meal was still ice cold. Not sure why this happened as it only ran for 40 seconds.

The SmartThings app stays connected and has many helpful options to starting and prepping things when away from the microwave. The vent and lights on this model are also pretty nice, helping keep things well lighted and when frying foods helps eliminate the extra smoke from hoovering in the room.

The door is hard to open. It was easy to install. It does not hide fingerprints. Hard to clean the front glass.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Needed a new microwave and wanted a Samsung to match the rest of the appliances. This model was an upgrade from the base level we had purchased years ago. It is larger, has more fan power and brighter lights. It cooks evenly and had the same footprint as the previous microwave. All I had to adjust were the holes to mount it to the upper cabinet. A real plus in my book. My wife makes fun when the microwave shows up on the Samsung tv that her food is ready but I enjoy the smarthings app to check on it. So far I don't use it much but do enjoy it. The touchscreen is on the front door which goes the entire length of the unit. It does show fingerprints so you'll have to wipe it down after cooking. It works great and I'm glad we bought it.

Microwave is excellent. Capacity is very large and the controls are easy to use. I can connect to my wi-fi and get the notifications from my phone or tv. The installation was simple and straightforward. We are very pleased with the product and purchase. Hoping for years of trusty service.
