It's hard to believe but the keypads for this "Smart unit" are NOT BACKLIT. Only the clock is backlit. You need kitchen lights to be able to see the numbers. Our previous unit was excellent; it included a keypad you could read any time because it was backlit. It is now installed and cannot be returned. We call the store and Samsung--no way to return/upgrade

I am a short person and I love that the instrument panel is horizontal and that it is printed on the glass. This really makes a difference as you don’t have ledger lights on until you’re ready to use.

I have a Samsung phone, fridge, stove, microwave, and multiple TVs in my home, thus I love and appreciate how everything is connected. I can not only control the tech settings from my phone, but I also appreciate the sleek/stylish appearance of the microwave. The hidden handle is also an added bonus! Although the stainless steel is not totally fingerprint resistant, it is very easy to clean. I am very satisfied with my purchase for my new home!

Was the worst microwave I own. Heat element doesn't work to heat properly. Went through techs which they couldn't figure the issue. They had to reach samsung online about codes which was weird because they she have some idea what the issue is. I really not consider samsung since they're support is never helpful. Only last about a month and half. Get a protection plan of you want to shoot your luck because it has alot issues

My microwave was a 20 year old Samsung that was still going strong, but I thought it was time to try all the features in a newer model Samsung. I am glad I decided to get this smart model! The first thing I noticed about this microwave is the extra large capacity inside. It easily fits a dinner plate, but has so much clearance you could fit much taller items. The fan has four speeds and each one is so quiet. Even the lowest speed has great airflow and I have found it to be powerful enough to pull steam from the stovetop, up and out. The sensor cook is such a great way to heat up a plate of leftovers during a busy workday at home. It has presets and even recipes that I look forward to trying out. I added the microwave to my SmartThings app and it includes options beyond the functions on the unit. And no more manually changing the display for daylight savings time, it is WiFi connected! You can check energy usage from the smart appliances through the app, even if it reminds you that you spend more time watching tv than using the robotic vacuum or dishwasher. You can use Voice Control with certain mobile devices. I especially love using my SmartThings app to remotely control the vent fan. I'm looking forward to using the Sensor Cook. For certain foods, the sensor in the microwave will detect moisture in the food and adjust the cooking time as necessary! It's great for everyday use: reheating my coffee and cooking fast meals or snacks. I recommend this reasonably priced microwave.

This is easy to clean and smart things is a plus when I was wondering why I would need a smart oven. You can send the instructions to cook based on the recipe from your phone directly and can control the hood from the app. Nice to have features !!
