The generator arrived in excellent condition, and delivered to our house . This generator has a lot of features that other generations I have bought don't have . The really great feature of this is it will operate on three scores of fuel.Was easy to put together and started up on the first try.

The WGen9500TFC generator started on the second attempt on natural gas and has now been broken in with 5 hours of run time. Still waiting for electrician to hook up a 50 amp box to the house for the real test. One negative is the generator is very loud, measuring about 95 decibels right next to it and 82 decibels just on the other side of a fence surrounding it using an albeit crude NIOSH decibel iPhone app.

This generator was ordered and delivered promptly. It's "footprint" is not at all intimidating, but I admit to being unsure about being able to deal with its weight by myself. This proved to be no problem, since it was only necessary to lift one of two corners at a time and slide a small block under the frame with my foot, which then permitted me to attach the two wheels. At that point, I moved it with ease. The setup and operating instructions are relatively simple and easy to follow. The engine started right away and seems to run robustly. I have not had an opportunity to put a load on it yet, but based on how strongly it performs without one, I believe it will meet the challenge if needed. Having 8500-9000 watts with a surge capacity of 12000 will dwarf the 3500 watt I used to scrape by in earlier emergencies. Power outages caused by storm events kept our electricity out of service for over a week last time, and temperatures in the house at night were over 95 degrees with windows open and window fans bringing in hot humid air from outside. Next time, in addition to powering a refrigerator and a few light bulbs, we intend to add a small window a/c unit in a small room and at least be a little more comfortable during the nights until electric service is restored. . .

I just bought this generator after a rough winter of power outages. I am a very small woman and it was so easy to lift it to its side and put the wheels on so I could easily transfer it to my garage after delivery. I was worried it would be too heavy but it's totally moveable by me and my 108lb/5' frame! It has the CO protector and a remote control. I feel so much better having this ready to go!

Recently purchased the WGen9500TFc to be setup as a backup whole house 50amp generator. Waiting for my electrician to setup the whole house backup. Will update after completion. As for the initial review, this generator is quick and easy to setup. It has tri-fuel capabilities with gasoline (best power output) followed by propane (my setup / middle power output) and then natural gas (lowest power output). It weighs nearly 250 pounds, but is actually very easy to move around with the handle and attached wheels. The sound is about as loud as a gasoline push lawnmower. I tested running my electric dryer without incident. The push button or key fob start is an amazing feature. Very pleased with this purchase. Again, once the whole house backup is complete I will update my review.

Excellent generator. Started right up on propane. Let it run and varied the load per instructions. After running the break in l loaded the unit up. 2 1500w heaters, large air compressor, large dehumidifier, 8000 btu room a/c, 30 amp camper with a/c and elec water heater. The gen. never missed a beat and ran great. This is a good investment and will last me many years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great generator. I just had a transfer switch added to my house and a natural gas hookup. The generator started right up and will power most of my house. The great thing is I don't have to deal with gasoline. I highly recommend this generator.

Purchased a few weeks ago and cannot believe how great a generator buy this was. Installed wheels quickly ,then added oil and used propane to start the unit. It started up very quickly and ran quieter than expected. Next I ran using gasoline and used the remote starter and quick start again. All the accessories ( propane and nat gas hoses) makes this the perfect buy for my home use.Detailed instructions are included.

Owners manual is clearly written; apparently in America, not China, what a welcome change from the typical. Set up was clearly explained, and easy to do. I wish small engine manufacturers could find a way to design mufflers that made their engines much quieter. There is really no need to have a loud engine. That said, this generator the 9500/12,500, is clearly a beast. It had no trouble running everything in my18,000 ft² home.

We feel secure in knowing we have this quality generator by Westinghouse. Prior to purchasing we read reports and reviews. This generator had very high reviews and excellent performance records. The extra benefit of gas/propane makes this model even more impressive. We rest assured that our power will remain consistent in the event of power outages.
