Easy setup. I was looking for a whole house solution in case the power went out. I looked into the Generac system but the price tag was steep and decided to buy a generator that could run the whole house by using the interlock switch on the electrical panel. I have a natural gas line running in my home so will use that as the fuel source.

We bought this when our power was out after Hurricane Isaias and it was a life saver. We live in Florida and being without any A/C would've been miserable. Luckily, we were able to get a window unit to hook up to the generator so we could have a reasonably cool living room. The generator worked great - no complaints

This generator is excellent in handling power outages compared to more expensive ones that cannot handle what this one does. I ran it today with 2 freezers and a refrigerator hooked into the 30 amp feed. I connected each one per the manual and didn't even hear any surge as they were connected. This tells me the generator is powerful. It also has 4 20 amp connections as well

I'm extremely happy with my new Westinghouse 12,500 Peak Watt Dual Fuel Portable Generator! From the moment it arrived, I was impressed with the quality, sturdy construction, and overall design. The setup was surprisingly easy and straightforward, with clear instructions that made the process simple and stress-free. I love the flexibility of being able to run it on either gasoline or propane, and knowing it's transfer-switch-ready gives me tremendous peace of mind when it comes to keeping my home powered during an outage. The convenience of the electric start and the added safety features are wonderful bonuses. This is a substantial investment in home preparedness, and I'm so glad I made it. The combination of power, versatility, and ease of setup makes this an outstanding purchase. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a dependable backup generator for their home. Five stars all the way! Excellent quality, easy setup, and peace of mind when it matters most!

I bought this about 2 weeks ago and just unpacked. I'm excited about utilizing the natural gas option to fuel this generator. After unpacking it looks quite solid and heavy. I installed the front wheels and stabilizers; I am planning to replace the stabilizers with casters for easier movement. I have previously installed a transfer panel to my home electrical panel and the max watts input is 7800; this aligns well with this generator as it supplies 7500W with natural gas and thus using the 30W output. I will get 7200 Watts. I'm not ready to give it 5 stars until I test it. For the price, it appears to be a good bargain. Time will tell.

I bought this several months ago but only set it up recently (anticipating a bad storm and possible power outage), only ran it for a few minutes to make sure it was ready to go. Set up was easy and it started right up. Appears to be a good product, well-made and rugged.

Our electric has been down for 4 days recently. Bought this after the fact, to make sure I don't have to worry about my freezers ever again. I read all the reviews before purchasing this, and they were all good. Was very pleased with the fast shipping, and I'll let ya know when we actually have to use it.

I bought this several years ago and so glad I did. Have not needed to use it until the hurricane this past week. Over the years I have diligently started it up at least once a month, let it run for awhile then turned off the fuel valve to let it run out gas. When my power went out last Friday, I pulled out the WGen9500, cranked up and plugged it into the house. (I had an electrician install a switchover box). That generator powered my entire house for three days without even one hiccup. We had lights, hot water, oven, and air conditioner the whole time. One of the best investments I have ever made. I also paid for installation of a switchover box for my son who lives just down the street. His 9500 performed flawlessly for three days as well. I highly recommend this easy to use, reliable, generator for any home owner. I have to go now to change the oil as recommended in the owners manual. Thanks for delivering a high quality product that delivers when called upon. I regretfully forgot to request the free generator cover when I first purchased it, certainly would appreciate it if you could provide one to me. Thanks again!!!

This machine is great! You'll need to put the wheels on to move it easily. It's HD and weighs over 200 lbs! Very well made. Lots of metal, less plastic. It comes with a lot of stuff too, so it's ready to go right out of the box! Well done, Westinghouse! Just add fuel. It will use 3 types: Gas, LP, or Natural Gas. A not included NG hose assembly is required to run off NG. The included user manual made getting it going very easy! Great price! Great machine! Great delivery! Well done, Lowes!

I purchased this generator at a great price during the summer. I have not had to use as of today, but am prepared for the stormy season as well as winter. My spouse is on oxygen 24/7 and this gives me peace of mind that he will have power to run his H20 concentrator if we do have a power outage.
