I purchased and just recieved. It was very easy to put the wheels on and it came with the correct amount of oil (1.1l) to quickly add to the generator. After connecting the battery (through a connector), I added gas, hit the start switch and on the second try of the auto start, it fired right up. I was impressed that it started so quickly right out of the box. The remote start works great and I was able to start it from the comfort of my house.

Excellent generator so far! I unboxed unit immediately and prepped for operation. I built a 50amp cord to connect to my manual transfer switch. I ran it on propane with no load for about 30 minutes. I then slowly added load until I had my entire house connected. It runs everything in my 3000+ sqft home, including the AC. It bogged down when compressor kicked on, but immediately recovered. I turned on every light (allLED’s), tv’s, microwave, etc. I also have the refrigerator and a full size freezer. Everything worked perfectly as I ran entire house on generator for 45 mins. I did not try to dry clothes or use the electric oven, but I’m sure they wouldn’t be a problem if I’m conscience about using during a storm. I also test ran on natural gas without load and it ran perfectly. I plan on installing a soft start on my AC unit before running on NG with load. I only plan on using gasoline as a last resort, so I’m not going to put any gas in it unless I need to. This will prevent any “gumming” up or fuel issues while in storage. Also, the hose did not come with everything I needed to connect to NG. I added a quick connect on to my existing NG line on the side of my home. I needed a 1/2” 45deg tapered male to 1/2” standard female adapter to complete the hose quick connect.

This generator is excellent in handling power outages compared to more expensive ones that cannot handle what this one does. I ran it today with 2 freezers and a refrigerator hooked into the 30 amp feed. I connected each one per the manual and didn't even hear any surge as they were connected. This tells me the generator is powerful. It also has 4 20 amp connections as well

I bought this generator to power my house during a 5 day long power outage. Worked great, allowed me to run the entire home without issue. Generator is a bit loud, but considering it could power my entire 100 AMP panel, it is not a big deal. Not bad for fuel efficiency either, only used between 7-10 gallons of unleaded fuel per day. If you have the correct hookup in your home, this is much cheaper than the Generac options.

I bought the generator on August 13, 2026 and have been running it at home for 2 days now due to a storm related power outage. Probably.gping to be another week before power is restored so going to be testing this hard. Easy to set up. Easy to get started. Love the remote start/stop. Running my fridge, chest freezer, basement fridge, lights in three rooms, and wifi (whenever Xfinity decides to work). So far a great emergency generator. It would be nice if it came with a 30amp generator power cord like Firman brands do but this generator is performing every bit as expected. Powerful, ease of use, and seems to run about 10 to 11 hours on gasoline. Very loud but thats to be expected. I need power to get through the storm destruction - this aint no library. Getting a natural gas hookup is my next plan. Highly recommend.

I have been researching generators for over a year and now have decided due to an abundance of power outages at my home that this would be the time to get one. This WGen 9500c was the perfect fit for my needs as well as affordability. I added an Interlock kit to my main entrance panel and the outside plug as well. I am now confident that the next outage will not be so worrisome especially in wintertime. Everyone should consider an alternative power source for their home. Regards David Morris

Purchased this after much research and the recommendation of my electrician. We didn't need a fully automatic standby generator because we are year round residents. I wanted one I could turn on from our house- the remote satisfied this need; and we wanted to tap into our existing 500 gallon propane tank. This one checked all the boxes. Now we've got to wait for the power to out. I'm happy to wait.

Packaging was perfect, easy to install wheel kit and move into place. Detailed instructions make it easy to prepare for use and operate. I like the preventive maintenance schedule as well, and happy to read the generator timer will provide me maintenance reminders. Is it safe to say I look forward to the next power outage.......

I bought this generator a month ago to replace a smaller generator that we own. It seems like the electric goes off more often than it use to and a little over a year ago a tornado went through about a mile and a half from us and we were without power for approximately 10 hours. I am glad to know I can have a peace of mind with this generator that has three powering options. Happy with our purchase 😀

Received this nice looking generator with everything you need on a generator including power to run everything you need. It wouldn’t start for me to even try it out. It a total of 3 weeks I called Westinghouse 5 times trying to talk to someone that could help me get it started. They have people answering just to take messages and forward it to correct department so they can call the customer. In 3 weeks I never received a call back from anyone. All I ever received was text showing me some trouble shooting tip to try. These tips were in the manual that came with the generator so I had already tried all of them. I bought it through Sam’s Club so I finally gave up on Westinghouse and called Sam’s. They are having the delivery service that delivered it come back out and pick it up and refund all my money. If I can’t trust the customer service and warranty department at Westinghouse I do not want their product. I never had a chance to test the generator but customer service and warranty departments are the worse. Because of all this I had to give them a rating if one.
