Great Generator Reasonably Priced

The 9500TFc handled extended outages without breaking a sweat—powered our furnace, sump pump, refrigerator, and essentials simultaneously. The tri‑fuel option was a huge advantage when gas stations were down, and the remote electric start made cold-weather operation incredibly easy. It's solidly built, reliable under heavy load, and gave us real peace of mind when the grid was out for days. A bit loud, but that's expected at this power level—performance more than makes up for it.

WGen9500TFc

I live on Long Island NY with super storm Sandy our power was out for almost 2weeks. The last generator I had was gasoline I seen this tri fuel model and had a gas line extended for an outside hook up. Now no more running around looking for open gas stations. Hopefully it will work great.

Good product, meets my expectations

I bought this about a week ago, I set it up and started running it it runs really well. I like the fact that it runs on propane as I live on the water and gasoline is not the best fuel to use here. So far the generator runs really well and has more power than I need but that's good, really like the remote start that will come in handy in inclement weather.

Starting could be better.

I bought this last summer, and so far have luckily only needed to use it once. It ran solid for a couple hours before the power came back on and didn't bog down or anything even though I just flicked the switch to power everything in the house at once. My only complaint is that it took a solid 5 minutes of turning over before it started up. With the battery though that wasn't a big issue, just waiting for it to fire up was getting a little worrysome because it didn't act like it wanted to run while turning over. It seemed to start quicker when I had first filled the tank and tested it over the summer for the first time after purchasing.

Nice Generator

This thing is a beast. Love all the outlets. Planned to run on gas but it came with everything needed to run on propane tank. Comes with battery, charger, spark plug wrench, oil, and funnel. Nice getting everything you need to get started. Filled out review so I can get a free cover. You need to register and show proof of review.

modern marvel, really.

I bought this back in January this year, and have not needed to use it yet, but I tried it out! After I had an electrician come, and a plumber come, because I am going to use natural gas in it only, I was ready to see what this baby can do. It runs quite well on natural gas. It powers my whole house for lights and freezers, fridge, but just don't run the electric clothes dryer or things like that that need tons of electricity. But to keep you going when a storm takes the power out? no problem. Thanks to this fantastic generator.

great machine

I bought this generator as a whole home unit. Straight out of the box it was easy to set up and start. Everything works great. I was very pleased with the price. The unit is very well made for the price. The included gas hoses were a very nice bonus.

Started on the first try!

I bought this after losing power for 6 days this winter. Haven't had to use it yet but I did connect it to propane and it started with the push button. Not looking forward to using it but it's comforting to know it's there. It is heavy and was delivered on a pallet. I managed to unpack and assemble it by myself but it would be easier with two people.

Solid Choice

I live in southern NJ and we experience frequent, random power outages and the past winter was severe. We lost power for three days and we decided we were long overdue for a generator. I did some research and spoke with a few electricians and decided on a Westinghouse 9500. I ordered it online, it was well packaged and easy to assemble, just the wheels and legs. The manuals are clear, and the control panel is easy to read. Solid frame, heavy but easy to move around. Started up without a problem. I'm prepared for the next power outage.

Almost Perfect

Everything was in the box. Assembly was easy and the directions were clear. Started with the push button, however the battery in the remote was dead. After replacing the remote battery, the remote paired and operates the generator. So only 4 stars.
