Well built

Bought January 29, 2026 and it is a very nice and well put together machine. You can tell when you open up the box and the manuals are carefully laid right on top, complete with parts manual, maintenance schedule, and everything you need right in the box. Even sent Natural gas hose, propane hose/regulator, tools, oil and funnel! It's very heavy but when wheels are put on it's very easy to roll around. Electric remote start, plenty of power. What else can you ask for?

Well made, easy to use

Just bought this generator to use for power outages at my home. Unit will be connected to a sub-panel. Received generator in a well packaged box in perfect condition. was easy to set up with the wheel package and to fill the oil with the included oil funnel. I connected the generator to a propane tank and started it using all three methods, (pull start, button on control panel and remote key fob). Generator started first time out of the box on first try using all three methods. I connected a few items to the generator and it produced plenty of power to run all of them at the same time. The controls and panel are easy to use and understand. I look forward to using this generator in the future if needed, it appears well made. I also have a 4500 watt Westinghouse duel fuel inverter generator that I use for my RV and have never had any issues with either. Highly recommend Westinghouse products.

Great all around!

Bought at the last minute due to problems with another generator...glad I did. Easy to assemble. Easier to maneuver than previous unit. Used for about a day before power restored...had no issues. Started up as needed. Been starting it since and still no issues.

Well Built

Solid generator! 12,500 peak / 9,500 running watts on gas, plus great output on propane/natural gas. Tri-fuel is awesome for flexibility and cleaner running.Remote start works perfectly, CO sensor adds safety, and it's easy to hook up to a transfer switch. Starts every time, runs fairly quietly (~74 dBA), and the display is handy. It's heavy (200+ lbs), but wheels help. Minor gripe: instructions could be better.

Ice storm 2026 MS

I got this just in time. We had a big ice storm in MS, and this ran our lights, heat, and many other things in our home. We were almost normal living. The generator did a great job, and I was very pleased with the gas usage. I would recommend this unit to anyone looking for a generator.

Nice unit, but could use better quality control

I purchased this generator to replace an old Generac 8000 that finally died after 15 years of living outside. Setup and positioning were pretty simple, albeit easier if you have a second pair of hands to help with the heavy lifting. After filling with oil, gas, and connecting the battery, I pushed the button and the engine started right up. Just as it was beginning to settle down, it shut itself off. Several repeat starts followed, and each time it shut off again automatically after just a few seconds of run time. The troubleshooting section in the manual suggested checking for low oil or a defective oil pressure switch, which were both good clues but the oil level was correct and the unit itself brand new. After some head scratching and looking around, I noticed a dangling bullet connector on a single wire which looked like it snaked back behind the blue control panel headed over towards the oil pressure switch. Bingo! An even closer look revealed the mating connector tucked back in there too. It was hard to reach, but once the two wires were reunited the generator stayed running properly after a startup.

Nice unit but not natural gas hose and 3/8 bib

Purchased this, however it came with a 3/8 male bib for the natural gas intake and I am not sure how to connect it to my natural gas as it only came with a propane hose and regulator attachment. It otherwise seems to be in good condition but now I have to figure out the parts requried for quick connect to my natural gas line. For a tri fuel I expected to not have this concern.

Nice Generator but ...

Purchase generator 9500TFc, nice push button start. Works great. Luckily hadn't needed to use it yet. However, fuel shut off valve leaks. I will see shortly how they will resolve this. But other than the valve leaks, works fine. I will probably purchase another if they resolve defect.

Power outages

We just recently had an 80 mph wind gusts storm with temperatures in the teens and power was out for over 13 hrs. I did not have a generator and house was getting cold and I was getting concerned over frozen water lines. The fridge was getting warm. I bought this generator for future power outages. Just hooked it up to propane and it started right up. My power company is coming this week to install a Generlink to power my house from the generator.

WGen9500TFc Tri-Fuel Generator

We bought this generator in Houston for the hurricane season. We have been fortunate not to have a hurricane or significant power loss since purchasing it, but we do fire it up regularly to keep it in good, working order, and it starts like a charm. Very easy to use, and it provides more than enough power to run the essentials in the house!
