I was a little upset and confused when the new packing showed up on the store shelves. So I took a giant leap of faith. I was very relieved when my family put on their clean clothes, and did not swell up like balloons. I still have a product that cleans my clothes and keeps my amily's sensative skin in check.

Contrary to other comments I read, this detergent does it all; cleaning power, removes smells, etc. It is made for light smells and stains, etc., not embedded odors or those requiring bleach. Great for my 4 girls; 2, 4, 6 & 35, who suffer dry skin and many allergies.

As someone who suffers from dry & reactive skin, I wanted to give a free & clear laundry detergent a try to see if that will help with my sensitive skin, and who better to try than Tide?! I found that the Tide cleaned as one would expect from Tide (fantastic if you don’t already know) but I have to admit I missed the clean laundry smell! I know! 🤦🏻‍♀️ That’s the entire free and clear thing. Although I love the quality of this product, I do miss the traditional scented Tide. Can we compromise and make a Tide that is clear of colorants and has a lighter scent? If you are looking for a free & clear, Tide is the way to go. Highly recommend but next time I’ll add some scent beads 😆

The first thing that I did notice, is that it doesn’t have the normal tide smell that is my favorite. It has no fragrance, so that would work perfect for people who are sensitive to scents

I have used Tide free and gentle for decades - then 2 months ago I started getting hives, red blisters, major itches and red patches all over my feet and legs. I eliminated everything and discovered it was the detergent. I started searching the internet and found so many chat groups of people having the same issue with this detergent and discovered the formula change. The stress and sleepless nights this has caused me makes me furious that this was done to customers. I can’t even cover myself with a bed sheet without immediate reaction. Out of desperation I tried tide simply and this caused a severe migraine and nausea. Im so very upset and disappointed, I wish I knew lot numbers to buy bottle before formula change. Now anytime I see the word Tide I think allergy. I’m in the process of rinsing bedding and clothes x 3 - just to get the detergent completely out but I’m not there yet hoping I can finally lay in the bed or wear my clothes without immediate hives. This was my go to formula for years. I can’t express how this has upset my existence having to deal with contact dermatitis and hives.

This free and gentle tide laundry soap works wonders and keeps my mind at ease with my children’s sensitive skin. with some other laundry detergent they leave a rash on my kids, so this is great to use for them. It cleans and smells great while gentle enough for sensitive skin.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cleans very well as all tide products do this one however leaves no scent and no issues with anyone allergic to a fragrance. I personally like a more fresh scent after washing laundry but my son said he didn’t feel like his clothes made him itchy like our other brand so I will be using this more often.

I've suffered from reactions to scented detergents on an off since I was in kindergarten. And this year my allergy's are much worse than usual and so far this is my first time back to Tide in a while. My allergy's while manageable in years past with just Zyrtec well, I'm hoping going back to Tide will help manage them a bit better.

For washing large loads I use a full capful. I personally like the scented soap. The good thing about this detergent is that it leaves the clothes very clean and the colors just as vibrant.
