I like this detergent because it's free and clear of parfumes and dyes. I have sensitive skin so I have to be mindful of what I use. If I had to change anything about this, it would be the dispenser. It's on the pricer side, but we'll worth the money.

I was elated to discover that tide makes gentle detergent that’s safe enough to use on my toddler. It’s not scented but has a fresh laundry smell. We are now a tide household again.

I have always used Tide and been happy with the product, however, the new 96 oz bottle which lays on its side is an engineering mistake. The bottle drips to the floor when left on the side and when turned upright drips down the bottle to whatever surface it is sitting on since it does not have the resevoir like the regular Tide bottles. A major design flaw! Who tests these things?????

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I only use fragrance free detergent when I was my clothes because my girls and I have sensitive skin but all fragrance free detergents are not created equal. This was a breath of fresh air because not only did it not irritate our skin but it also left our clothes looking and feeling extra clean. Wins all around!

I have sensitive skin. I don’t think you (the company, not the unfortunate employees who has to read this) care, or understand what that Really means. It means I didn’t know what was happening to me until it literally exploded across my body. I didn’t know you were making changes to your product until the skin on my chest, under my arms and between my legs turned in half a day into burning, itchy skin that is so swollen with Tide rash there are no more pores. When I try some new product I try it in a focused way. For example, body lotion I’ll just try it on my hands and if they start burning or itching, the skin changes color I wash it off and don’t use it again. I don’t just put it all over my body and whatever happens, happens. What are you thinking? You can’t just put whatever you want in a product- like Benzisothiazolinone, which by the other reviews seems to be a problem - like you did over this past year to the “free

I recently washed a load of laundry using Tide Free & Gentle. I didn't realize until after the dry cycle that my son had left a half a pack of cigarettes in one of his pockets of the clothing I had washed. When I took the load of laundry out of the dryer, I saw the filters from the cigarettes and realized what had happened. Most of the tobacco was caught by the lint trap of the dryer. The most amazing thing was: THE ENTIRE LOAD OF LAUNDRY WAS COMPLETELY CLEAN AND TOTALLY FREE FROM ALL SMELL OF TOBACCO AND CIGARETTES. Amazing!

Really disappointed that benzisothiazolinone was added to the new formulation. Puffy eyes, swollen cheek, itchy face and contact dermatitis that looks and feels like cystic pimples after sleeping on pillow cases washed in the new formula. (Listing these symptoms for others who may also be allergic to benzisothiazolinone because it's terrible.)

I have been using this the past few weeks and I can confirm that my clothes smell like nothing at all. For someone like my husband, who has a sensitive nose and can smell everything 10x, this was perfect for him. There was no need to air out the clothes to get of any cleaning product smell. I imagine this would be perfect for those who cannot wear scents due to allergies or eczema.
