All Tide laundry detergents are designed to provide a great overall clean, as detergents help water to penetrate fabrics and then loosen dirt from them. They also suspend dirt in the water so it doesn't go back onto the fabric. It is possible the soil from the garments has redeposited on the fabric. Some stains are tougher to remove than others, or other detergent formulations may work better to fully break them up and rid them from your garments.
