We&#39;re sorry you were disappointed with the cleaning of your clothes with your latest purchase of Tide PODS™, Anne. All our laundry detergents are designed to provide good overall cleaning. Detergents help water to penetrate fabrics and then loosen dirt from them. They also suspend dirt in the water so it doesn&#39;t go back onto the fabric. It is possible the soil from the garments has redeposited on the fabric. For the best cleaning results, we have a few tips. First, always follow the items’ care instructions and use the hottest water safe for the fabric. Secondly, sort clothes properly, grouping similar colors and fabrics together. It&#39;s also a good idea to pre-treat noticeable stains before washing, and not overload the washer. Use the recommended amount of detergent for average water hardness, a little more in very hard water, a little less in very soft water.
