We are sorry you've experienced lack of effectiveness when using the PODS. It's really a bittersweet feeling as you've been left with a lot to desire with the PODS, but we are also glad you enjoy our liquid detergent.. Our PODS are made to be able to handle stains and have an impactful scent. So, future references, please try to never use more than 3 PODS as you may risk staining on your clothes. Also, we have a more powerful line called Tide PowerPODS, which are larger versions of the regular PODS, including the "+ Downy" version, for Large, XL, XXL, and heavy duty loads with increased cleaning power and impactful scent. Tide products undergo thorough testing to make sure they clean your fabrics effectively every time when used as directed, so this isn&#39;t the experience we want you to have with Tide.<br /><br />Typically, excess residue is caused by incorrect dosing/dispensing, so be sure to follow the pack instructions for dosing and always place the Pod in the back of the drum before the garments for best results. Soaking your affected garments overnight in warm water, and then rewashing the next morning on the hottest temperature permitted by the items care labels with no laundry detergent should remove any leftover residue from the PODS.
