We lost power in Texas for 5 days if I would have had this unit it will completely power my RV. Duel fuel is a must when the power goes out because gasoline might not be available so I have 80 lbs of propane onboard my RV plus a 20 pounder on my grill. This unit is lightweight, quite and love the duel fuel. Great unit for my needs.

Opened the box, reviewed the Start-up procedures, started it up and ran straight away! I researched for this product for a while. I love that it is dual fuel. I use mainly LP when traveling in our trailer. I hate to carry gasoline inside the tow vehicle with kids. Can't wait to take it on the road next month!

If your on the fence about what generator to get for camping or your RV buy this one! It’s super quiet and runs perfect! Running it is easy so anyone can do it. You know exactly how much fuel you have left, how much power your using and run time! Have the dual fuel is awesome piece of mind or if your worried about having a gas can around then you can use propane. This is awesome unit and I would definitely buy again.

I needed the flexibility of dual fuel and the convenience of remote start with a nice digital readout. This unit had all I required. Very easy to assemble. Just plug in the battery and ready to go. First push on the start button and the unit started immediately, on propane. Careful, the small gasket on the regulator end of the propane supply hose is easy to lose.

I selected this generator because it had a pretty high capacity for an inverter style generator that is more efficient and quieter than the non inverter generators. I liked the fact that it is dual fuel and can be setup for a natural gas connection with a slight modification. I will eventually be setting up a transfer switch in my house to make an easier transition when using the generator. I have not used the generator yet, but will be ready when I need it.

Now that we have a new baby I wanted to prepared for hurricane season. I wanted a unit powerful enough to run a portable AC and fridge yet quiet enough that it won’t disturb the neighbors. After a week of sifting through reviews on different model and comparing prices, I settled on the igen4500DF. I liked the unit for many reasons. The running watts was exactly what I was looking for, long run time on a tank, ability to also run on propane was a bonus as that is easier to store long term vs gasoline, quiet, portable, and cheaper than a Honda or similar higher end unit. Sleeping much better now that I don’t have to worry about losing power in the Texas summer with a baby in the house.

After a couple of months of research, we decided to go with this model to meet our camping needs. The generator is amazing on gas, and very quiet. We also love the remote feature. It was so nice to be able to turn it off when we went to bed without having to go outside. I am very happy with our decision to go with Westinghouse!

I just bought a travel trailer so I did a little shopping and found this to be a pretty great inverter generator. I love the propane feature. Picked it up last night and I already load tested it. Runs everything on my 30 amp travel trailer, including the 15k BTU AC. It double duties as a great emergency generator for my house. Runs everything in my house (within reason), including a couple of window AC units, a refrigerator, and a freezer. No, it won’t run my hot tub (oh well). This is my second Westinghouse generator. The first one is a 7,000 watt which is still like new. I'm giving that one to my son since I bought this one to consolidate my home and RV generator requirements. Absolutely love it!

The remote control allows us to shut off the generator from inside our camper, which is a great feature. The generator starts quickly on gasoline, but I haven't been able to get it to cross over to propane yet. Not sure if the issue is the regulator, or operator error since this model is new to me. I'll figure it out and update the review in a couple weeks.

I purchased this inverter/ generator as part of a bus conversion into a tiny home to supplement my solar system during inclement weather. It has exceeded my expectations, quiet, reliable, and the remote function is a fantastic feature. It’s also less expensive than similar models, most of which do not have a dual fuel capability.
