SIMPLE AND VERSATIL

If you're looking for a powerful and versatile generator that can sustain mid-sized equipment in critical situations this generator could be a great choice. I live in an area that has energy issues, with the 5000W peak capacity, this generator has enough power to power essential equipment. From refrigerators to basic systems (air conditioners). Plus, it can run continuously for several hours with a moderate load, ideal for home or small office use. One of the notable aspects is its fuel efficiency because can operate for up to 20 hours on a full tank (depending on the load), which allows you to not have to constantly recharge. I did not run it with propane yet but I know I have the flexibility to use it. Is easy to be used and is portable as a big cooler because of the wheels and an ergonomic handle for easy transportation. Additionally, most feature an intuitive control panel, with indicators for fuel, and voltage levels, making monitoring simple.

So far, so great!

I purchased this generator after having a competitor's (red, HF model). Well, I actually had 2 of theirs after the first wouldn't power my AC on my trailer I traded it in on a new one. The second one didn't either and either said "overload" or CO censor issues. So far so good/great with this one and I'm excited to get to use it with our competition BBQ trailer this weekend.

Easy startup just connect battery cable, add oil

I bought my IGEN5000DFc about a month ago, easy to follow directions manual: connected battery cable, added supplied oil, used extension handle to pull it outside and fired it up on propane easy startup and ran surprisingly quiet and not too heavy for an old man to lift and pull.

really nice and quiet inverter

we use the westinghouse inverters at work and love them. I decided to buy one for my camper amd love the fact that it will runn with full load of camper only using about 70%. I doubt I'll ever use the propane option but wanted it just incase I needed it.

Solid Unit

I purchased this generator for camping and power outages at home. The generator I previously owned was small, 2000/1600w. It was convenient but not enough output to satisfy my needs for the RV or home. Having two small generators linked together was an option but I wanted the 30amp outlet. It's very convenient to be able to plug the RV's 30amp cable directly to the iGen. I am very satisfied with the quality of construction, power output and extra features of the iGen. I was able to power a 16' trailer directly to the 30amp outlet while charging the batteries of my RV through the 110 outlet. Also, I had tent campers nearby charging their phone and laptop from the USB outputs. The iGen is packaged well and was easy to unbox (follow the instructions) and set up. It started quickly and effortlessly with the electronic start. (The pull cable is there if there is ever a problem with the battery). I ran the unit for about an hour to break-in. I plugged in several small loads including a 1500w hair dryer over the hour to vary the output and check out the gas saving efficiency mode switch. Everything went well. It is quieter than my RV's onboard Generator. The iGen is very easy to move. The sturdy extension handle works very well when needing to re-locate the iGen. I have not used the DF (propane) feature so can't comment but I wanted that option. Cons: The iGen was missing two bolts of four used to connect the extension handle. A bit of a concern but were available from the local hardware store. Also, the iGen is heavy so although it's easy to roll around storing it for travel takes two people to be safe.

Works Great!

We bought this a week ago and it works great! Love the remote start and that we can use propane or gas! The expandable handle makes it easy to move it around. There are 2 handles on the the top that make it easier to lift. Fairly quite as far as generators go.

Works Great!

I was looking for a generator with enough power that wasn't too loud. This one is not loud at all, has a 30amp plug outlet perfect for RV's, you can use gas or propane! It's' super easy to set up, and comes with wheels and a slide-in and out handle. We are very pleased with this purchase.

Easy to Operate, Lots of Features

I bought this in case of power outages in south Louisiana. After plugging in the battery, adding the oil (included) and starting it up, it ran with no problems on propane. I am impressed with teh variety of features it has. All of the propane connections are included. It runs pretty quiet. Very happy with the purchase so far.

Won’t run on LP gas.

I bought this generator based on the many positive reviews, but have to say I am not impressed. Some of the features, like remote start are nice, but after many attempts, I cannot get it to run on propane. The exhaust fumes are also rather strong like there is unburned fuel being expelled. This unit also came damaged from the shipper. Will be contacting customer service.

Awesome Inverter/generator

Bought this to power my 5th wheel RV while dry camping. Have slow start capacitors on both 15k A/C units. After starting each separate, runs both with no problems. Very quite for a 4500. Ran gasoline thru it only once, have used nothing but propane since. Have over 400 hours with no issues.
