I just got this today. I bought it because my wife and I are full time RV'er. So, I spoke with my electrician about a generator for my RV and this is what he recommended and what he currently uses.

We have not started it yet but will do it today or tomorrow. We are making sure we do the first start by the book. We are seniors and needed something that both of us can run

I bought this unit and so far so good. Setup was easy enough and included everything I needed except gasoline. Started easily and is plenty quieter than my other generator. I have high hopes that this will be a quality product that will last.

Bought yesterday for my grandmother cause her power had been out for a couple days and she can't pull the cord to start. The push button works great and is suprisingly easy to move around.

My initial experience with the iGen5000DFc has been very positive. Unpacking was easy, adding oil was straightforward, the battery came charged, and the unit started right away. I am new to generators, but the instructions and manual were clear, and my pilot load test went smoothly. It gives me confidence that I am better prepared for an emergency. I bought this after the Hurricane Helene left me without power for a long time. It set unused for about a year. I put in good fuel, oil, connected the battery, charged the battery, selected gas, and it still won't start. Now we are in an ice storm, and it is useless---a very expensive paperweight.

So far this generator has been just right! Bought the generator for some basic hoke protection during inclement weather and also for some traveling RV/Outdoor recreation use. The set up has been seamless, straightforward, and just as simple as explained in the quick start guide. The generator power up was also just as easy utilizing any of the methods (pull start, push button start or remote control start). I also compared the wattage draws from some of my home items to the read out on the display and they’ve all matched up accordingly. Very pleased with the generator so far and look forward to its use.

I bought one of these Generators and ran gas it was fine, ran diesel it was fine, tried to start on gas mode and wouldn't start. I discovered that the reason it wouldn't start is because it was sucking air in thru the propane inlet. I had put a quick connect on the inlet. I took off the quick connect and put the cap on that came with the generator and it started right up. I hope a support Tech reads this and I hope this helps other people out. Now that it starts, I love it.

This seems to be an excellent portable generator so far. I love the retractable handle for moving it around, and the flexibility of duel fuel. The only minor flaws that I noticed was that the oil fill/dipstick is in a tight spot and somewhat difficult to access, as is the battery quick connect. Other than that, I can see this unit saving me plenty of headaches during the next inevitable power outage.

Just bought this a month ago. Took a bit to get here because of the snow storms in the south east US. Started it up with remote start on propane fuel first try. Ran it for about an hour and plugged in a bunch of random things to see how it would draw. So far, very happy with it. We will see when the next big storm hits!
