Little power house

I bought this to power my RV and I have berly seen it go above the 25 % . It run good and it's quiet I cant hear in side the RV its not to heavy I was abel to lift it waist high to service it at the 25 houre mark. Over all i am very happy with it. I gave it a 4 because the oil fill hole was very tight for my hand to do the oil drain,

Great Generator iGen4000DFc

I bought a generator because of my local power supplier turns off power when it's super windy in my area. They've done it 3 times and I was tired of losing my food and not being able to work at home. So I got this generator and it's been great. I've used it for a total of 3 days running basically non stop to power half my house. I use it to power my fridge, coffee maker, toaster oven, WiFi routers, tv, and my laptop and two monitors. Not all are on at the same time but when I was using my computer with monitors, WiFi routers, fridge, and a toaster oven I was at 50% capacity according to the digital display. The thing is awesome and it's not too loud either. I used eco mode and it's nice cause it idles at a lower rpm and only idles up when there is more draw. The digital read is really nice too but for the fuel it only displays in liters, so I had to memorize the conversion since I only really understand ounces and gallons. The generator is really nice and hopefully it lasts a long time. I'll probably be using it often during the windy months and tbh using it for 3 days was worth every penny. I would say the only downside is the instructions. Like it doesn't state exactly how to handle the onboard li ion battery for the generator. I think they need to clarify this some. But otherwise if you're looking for something quieter and somewhat portable as I can still carry it with one hand but it's still a little heavy, and are able to power quite a bit as mentioned above, this is the one you want.

Can not beat the quality and dependability

This is my third Westinghouse iGen generator and the best one yet. We have a 2200 and 2000 that we have to parallel so we purchased this 5000 with the remote start and dual fuel because we are getting older and plan to do a lot of traveling and having to parallel the two smaller ones each time we stop is a pain. The added bonuses are the remote start and ability to use propane. Received it today, put in the oil and hooked up the propane and it started immediately. We are now going through the 5 hour break-in and will change the oil over to synthetic then we will be good to go for several more years. You cannot beat their quality and dependability and why we chose to stick with Westinghouse.

Just Purchased

Looks great out of the box, took my time to read the Manual so I feel good about starting it up for the first time. The screw in funnel is a nice feature for adding oil without a mess. I had 2 Yamaha generators that I sold to pick this up mainly because the of the dual fuel capability for camping and I love the electric start! Also really like the telescope handle to move it around with ease.

Beware on initial start up. Poor quality control.

My unit leaked gasoline on initial fill up and soaked the controls with fuel. It turned out to be a split fuel hose going to the shut off valve. Easily repaired but should have been caught during QC at the factory, if it was test run as stated in the manual. Unit is very quiet and performs very well after repairs were made.

So much quieter than my old generator

I year ago I bought a conventional open generator, not realizing just how loud they are. It's so loud I really can't use it in my neighborhood without annoying everyone around. This Westinghouse inverter is so much quieter that it shouldn't be an issue. The generator seems to be well made and has useful features like USB outlets and a running time meter. I plan to use it for emergency power to run refrigerators and a portable air conditioner since we regularly lose power in our area. I have great confidence that this generator is more than up to the task.

Nice Generator

East to assemble out of the box. This generator came with all the tools you need to get it ready as well as tools needed for future preventative maintenance in the future. I like how they considered changing oil and draining fuel. Would recommend if you are looking for a portable generator for home emergency use or RVing.

iGen 11000TFc

I purchased this generator for my mobile food business. Had the iGen 4500 that we had used for camping for several years. I was so impressed with that one that I upgraded to the 11000 for my new food trailer. I've only had it a short time but so far it runs quietly and has no problem pulling the load of an AC, Fridge, Water heater, and a refrigerated prep rail. I could add more equipment to the trailer and the iGen11000 would have no problem with it.

Just purchased this generator/inverter today

Just picked up this unit. I was amazed on the packaging. Very well thought out. Very simple to install the necessary parts. I'm running propane primarily. Once I added the oil and turned the motor over several times, the motor started up and the quietness has shocked me. It being a large unit and all. My purchase of this unit is for my 40' 50 amp travel trailer when I'm off the grid.

Very good product

After reading hundreds of comments and reviews I decided on this inverter generator for our new travel trailer source. I like they give you tools and oil and an oil funnel but they also give you an adapter but don't say for what or how to use. The cover for the battery was sitting half in the generator and half out and the battery was sitting loose in the box and not tied down. I put together everything, put oil in it, put fuel and tested. Worked great I thought it would be quieter. But it's not bad and better than most
