This seems to be an excellent portable generator so far. I love the retractable handle for moving it around, and the flexibility of duel fuel. The only minor flaws that I noticed was that the oil fill/dipstick is in a tight spot and somewhat difficult to access, as is the battery quick connect. Other than that, I can see this unit saving me plenty of headaches during the next inevitable power outage.

I only just received this this generator and have done some light break-in with it at this point and testing all the functionality. The build quality is very good and the packaging was great. I have used gas generators for years and this is my first inverter and tri-fuel generator. Looking forward to the use of propane and not having to shuttle gas all the time. Really impressed with how quiet this generator is. I could literally stand within a few feet and have a normal conversation. Time will tell, but I specifically ordered this to charge my Anker Solix F3800s during an extended power outage. The F3800s need clean power which this generator has at <3% THD.

Right out of the box all you have to do is put oil in it and hook up the battery. You can start it with gas or propane, I chose propane and all the hoses came with it. It started on the first try and kept going. It's very quiet running it didn't bother the neighbors, so far I am very pleased with it.

Great purchase and much quieter than an open generator. I've enjoyed it so far. It still makes decent noise but it's an improvement from what I'm used to. I got the dual fuel and it started well. Had to work it a little bit but it was easy after the first operation. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice backup or camping generator. I plan to use it for my fridge and other small items during power outages.

Although I had no idea about how to buy a generator, I went out on a limb and bought the 5000 DFC model. We've taken it out a couple of times and it works great.

Love this Generator, easy to use and started on the first pull and is so quiet. Ran my window 8000 btu air conditioner, lights and a fan all night in my cabin.

Very good use it on the tent string lights, ice cone machine, cotton candy machine, a deep fryer all running at the same time no hipcups just problem with choke.

Unboxed it. added oil, charged the battery, and it started right up. It is very quiet and will work great for my travel trailer as well for use during power outages.

So far so good.. set it up and gave it a test run with my trailer and it seemed to work fine. Have not used it for any long-term yet. So it's good so far

I purchased this generator due to the terrible hurricanes last year in Florida. I was not going to be without a generator this year. I reviewed many generators, and this one seemed that it would fit our needs the best. The unit had high reviews, and we were able to purchase online and pick up at Home Improvement store within a few days of ordering. Reason for the 4 stars, is that it would not start with a gasoline hook up, it started and ran with the propane, but for some reason would not start with gasoline, plus the remote Fob was missing from the box. I contacted Westinghouse and they sent me an email with maintenance instructions regarding cleaning the carburetor. This was not really helpful, it was brand new, it should just start right out of the box without me having to clean a brand-new carburetor. I was finally able to get the generator running on gasoline, it appears, I may not have put enough gas in to begin with, I did not have to clean the carburetor, and it would have been helpful if service would have suggested other options for resolution. None the less, it is now working. I have not used it yet for an extended period of time, only to make sure it starts. Hurricane season just started, and I will update my review after we are able to use it for longer than just starting it. I would be just fine not using it, if it means no hurricanes this year.
