After trying for months to find a retailer that had this unit available, we finally found it & I am glad we did! Extremely handy unit…. Easy to use and great features! I love the gas or propane options as well ( that was the major reason I wanted this specific unit!) it's quiet and just gives me peace of mind knowing I have it to rely on! Westinghouse is a trusted name and the warranty is one of the best too!

I really like this generator. It has sufficient surge watts to kick off the compressor on our portable air conditioner. It is very easy to use with remote control start and stop. It is very quiet compared to other generators I've been around. We run ours from the patio and when we are inside the house you can barely hear it. Very satisfied!

I bought this generator to run my rv. It is well built and easy to set up. Comes with everything you need to get it started. Just one complaint the seals for the propane hose were just sitting in the styrofoam not in the hose or sealed bag. I think I'll be happy with this purchase.

I purchased an iGEN5000DFc generator in July '24 and it has exceeded all my expectations. This inverter generator is amazingly quiet, powerful, and very fuel efficient. I especially like the electric start, LED status display, quality, and relatively small machine footprint without sacrificing generous amperage. I currently use the generator during power outages which typically run for several days at a time (happens quite often here in the Gulf Coast) to run two refrigerators, a large freezer, floor fans, TV/computers, and various lights; and there is still amperage to spare to run a large portable AC unit, clothes washer and dryer. Even though it is a dual-fuel, I have only been using LP so far. I highly recommend this generator.

I bought this about a month ago and started it just now tested and it seems to work great with the propane. I haven't tried the gasoline part of it out yet. I tried manual start, Electric start and the remote key fob start and shut down they all work terrific! On the first start it did take a little while and attempted approximately four times before starting due to the air in the line from the propane tank to the generator. I did try to start it after that a few times in each way and it worked tremendous first time every time!

I just bought this iGen5000DFc Inverter Generator a few days ago and have since pulled it out of the box and fired it up. It started with no problem and it has all the features I think I will need to weather short term (1-2 weeks) power outages due to hurricanes, freezes and wind storms. Yes - I live in Texas.

I was looking for a generator with enough power that wasn't too loud. This one is not loud at all, has a 30amp plug outlet perfect for RV's, you can use gas or propane! It's' super easy to set up, and comes with wheels and a slide-in and out handle. We are very pleased with this purchase.

I bought this to have for Hurricane season in Florida and specifically for my 2 KOI ponds if the power goes out. This is perfect to move to the ponds and will be perfect to give power to both ponds. It is light weight and easy for me to move around. We have 2 other larger Westinghouse generators for the house and absolutely love their product! I would definitely recommend to a family member or friends.

Bought this about a month ago to replace/upgrade a previous generator that I'd owned for ~5 years. Things I like most: - Dual Fuel (LP/Gasoline) capability. - Switches easily from LP to gasoline (& vice versa) without having to shut down the generator. - Telescoping Handle - Long run time w/o refueling. Especially handy is being able to switch from LP to gasoline to facilitate swapping out LP tanks w/o having to shut down the generator. - Digital display of power output, runtime hours and fuel level. - Automatic choke - Inverter reset button Improvements: - Replacing the 3/8" flare fitting for LP with a quick-connect fitting - Adding a fuel shutoff switch (gasoline) - Using a hinged cover for the 30A and 20A connections...the soft rubber ones feel flimsy. - Relocate/re-engineer the transport handle to facilitate easier extension/pickup...having the handle so low tends to scrape knuckles ;-)

We just received our Westinghouse IGen4500 DF and right off the bat I was very happy with the quality of the generator, the duel fuel is a great option and the remote starter is user friendly. I am looking forward to many years of great service from Westinghouse power equipment. Thank you !!
