I bought this generator a year and a half ago, and it has worked great for me on propane! Unfortunately, I never tried to run it on gasoline until a few months ago and it wouldn't start no matter what I tried. Looks like I'm not the only one with this issue so I'll get it in to be repaired. While I was researching the issue though, I found that there's an active recall for my serial number anyway, so hopefully it will all get worked out. It's been awesome on propane though and runs everything I need in my RV! Just hope to get it in for the bugs to be worked out.

Bought this unit due to excellent online reviews. Need it to power RV on vacant property we purchased. Does so with no issues. Have not tried the propane feature yet but am thinking of permanent mount 100lb tank to minimize fuel transport. Unit is quiet at a distance. I intend to use a home made directional sound box to kick the extra sound out into the woods. Overall pleased with purchase. Would recommend.

A required repair campaign after initial purchase was to ship the unit to Westinghouse facility. Shipped all original hardware and materials with hesitation something might be missed on return shipment. Campaign was handled perfectly with unit supplied as original purchase. Most of all, the unit performed perfectly. Thank you.

Great little generator. A lot quieter than my 7500. works just the same. Duel fuel makes it very versatile. Only issue relates to the specification disclosed on the website - Height was shown as 20 inches but it is actually 20.5 inches, appears they didn't include the gas cap. It just barely fits in my truck bed under the topper. Would be better if it was 20 inches as advertised!

Generator is much quieter than expected. It has plenty of power to supply everything I want for my camper. It is a little heavier than expected but the extendable carry handle makes it easy to move around once it’s on the ground. I really like the remote operation and the dual fuel capability, that is specifically why I purchased this one over other brands.

I had tried to use the propane first and was unsuccessful. I then used gas to get it warmed up and running then switched over to propane and it worked. I think the directions should say that the oil supplied is premeasure. My first thought when I couldn't get it started that I may have to much oil. Also Westinghouse may want to give an instruction video on how to get it running out of the box. The ones on Youtube can be confusing and may make you mess up a brand new generator. Also you need to keep an eye out for the gasket that goes in the flat end of the propane hose. My biggest concern is that I contacted Customer Support and was on hold for 40 minutes just to get some basic info and was told someone will contact me back in 2 business days. That almost had me return it!

I'm 80 years old, therefore we needed something that we can operate. I did a lot of study beforehand. The electric start was of the utmost importance, and we needed a generator with an RV hookup. Being avid campers, the dual fuel was a real plus as we already have the propane gas on the camper. Lastly, the name Westinghouse just wraps up the whole package. Thank you for such a fine product.

Super easy setup. I had it running within minutes of unboxing. I ran it on propane first. Used all three starting methods and it started first time with all three. I was able to start with the remote from over 120 feet away. Very solid, feel like great quality. I was blown away by how quiet this generator is, even when standing next to it. From 20 feet away it's just minor background noise.

I went shopping for a dual fuel generator to use both domestically and as a power source for our 26' camp trailer. A ton of research led me to this item. It is compact, easy to use and delivers the power I need for both applications. We don't have to power the whole house - fridge, freezer, furnace - it does all three. It takes care of everything I need with my trailer. It maneuvers easily, can be lifted by one person of ordinary strength, and comes with excellent instructions. We laminated the "Quick guide" and zip tied it to the handle. All in all, a useful tool in an uncertain world.

Bought this unit for power outages to run a couple of refrigerators and some computer equipment. Unit is very quiet and the electric start was charged and easy to use. Make sure you “connect “ the battery—- was not in the startup instructions. Have not had to use for outage yet but seems pretty straightforward.
