I bought this unit to use as a backup in case of power loss, as we're getting into hurricane season and I learned my lesson during the Texas Winter Storm. It's more silent than I expected, very portable (considering its capacity), and does the job just fine. Only issue I had is that the manual states to add the full bottle of oil (0.6 qt), but the motor took only about 0.5 qt before it was already measuring at the high level on the dipstick. It's a little weird, makes me wonder if it's not a brand-new unit...but considering the first couple oil changes take place quite fast anyways, I don't see it as a major issue. I wish it could run on natural gas as well...I assume it doesn't give the option from OEM mostly due to emissions regulations, though...

I bought this duel fuel inverter generator for use with my travel trailer, I am so happy with it, I do not have to go to a camp ground with hook ups when I go hunting. Its quieter than other generators and if needed it's great to use at home when the power is out.

Just got done doing to mandatory oil check, gas check, push a button,check! Can't beat that! I have two other gens. that crank out volts and amps. but, gotta pull a rope and soooo noisy. This is truly the future. Now if Westinghouse would just put it in a self driving truck and teach it to follow me wherever my trailer leads it! By the way it's new as of 07/2021 and all the previous gremlins seen to have been slain.

The iGen 4500 DFc-dual fuel generator, compared to 2 other generators I own, is very quiet. The others are a high and loud, almost shrill sound. This one is low and I can easily hear a conversation if I'm only 7 feet away. I especially like the remote start/off. It's just a really nice feature. I will only be using Propane, which creates a lower output, but worth not having the gumming situation which occurs with gas. My wife liked the encased blue look of it, which she says looks nice. I think it helped me convince her of the purchase price. (wink)

I have been waiting to purchase this generator for 6 month because everyone was out of stock. I thought about buying other dual fuel generators that were in stock but I'm glad I didn't. This generator was worth the wait with it's great power rating and features like remote start. I just took it out of the box hooked up the battery add gas and oil and it started on the first press of the button. Hooked up my propane flipped the switch and it was running on propane. What a great little generator perfect for powering my trailer.

Purchased new from Amazon. It arrived quickly and undamaged. This is a super nice generator! It is however, HEAVY!!... Stats say 96lbs empty but it feels like more. So far I am VERY impressed! This thing is setting the Quiet bar..... I have a [other mfg] "quiet inverter" generator of like output and I can hear it 30ft away while standing next to the iGen4500df, both under same load. ;-)

This inverter generator was far more capable than I expected, and all of the additional features that it is equipped with make it superior to any other unit that I had researched for purchase. It will serve me double duty for supporting my travel trailer as well as standing duty as a backup for when our power goes out.

Ive only used it for 1 weekend of camping. Ran a 19 ft 30amp camper including AC unit with power to spare. Put 27 hours on it. Only concern is, after it runs for several hours with no problem, it started idling down then would return to normal operation within a couple seconds. After it does it the first time then it would do it about every 20-30 minutes. No power change on my end and no codes on the generator. Still havent figured out what is causing it.

Very happy with this generator. I have just used it with various load levels and it operated as expected each time. I had all lights, fans, refrigerator, microwave, tv, and air conditioner on all at the same time and the generator performed flawlessly.

I purchased this Igen4500df to power our travel trailer when camping in remote location. This generator will run my total trailer from Eco mode using propane as fuel supply. The AC is 13500 btu. It is very quiet. I am very pleased with it's performance. The digital display is excellent and accurate.
