I bought this about a month ago and have only tested it a few times, but so far it is great! Much easier to use than my old pull start. It checked off everything I wanted from a new generator. Dual Fuel, push button start, remote start, inverter, digital load gauge. Because I don't use a generator often, I can use the propane connection and not have to worry about gasoline clogging the carbs up and not being able to start it when I need it.

Installed it on a plate mounted to our trailer tongue. Started right up after sitting for six months in its original packaging. Sufficient power to meet the requirements of our 2020 Grand Design Imagine 247 BH TT. Running through break in period, as I am writing this review.

Ordered online, delivery no problem. Carefully read and followed instructions. Added oil and gasoline, started and ran half power for two hours charging a big battery generator. No problem noted. Connected propane tank carefully and started right up, ran for some time no problems. Only criticism was cosmetically, the hard plastic cover near top didn’t quite close leaving a very small gap and what was a little discoloration, does not see that it would ever affect operation.

Unpacked it and added the oil and connected the battery, used the included hose for the propane hook up and it started right up!!!! I heard it was quiet, but man up close and personal soooo quiet!! Built a generator box for it, but don;t think i will have to use it!!! Thanks Westinghouse for a really good product.

I just unpacked my Westinghouse iGEN4500DF generator purchased because another brand failed to start during an ice storm. I returned it ASAP to the company and purchased the 4500DF. I'm only running it on propane. Very easy to set up. No wheels to attach etc. Just filled the oil, which comes in the box and connected the battery clip. It started on the first try and warmed up nicely and quietly. I trust this generator to be ready to run when I need it.

I think this iGen4500DF is awesome. A little heavy for a senior to take in and out of vehicle but once out the handle and wheels make it easy to move around. Started on second try out of the box. I’m running it on propane and so far it’s perfect. No problems.

I just bought this unit to supplement a 3700W Harbor Freight Predator. Much better design, which includes dual fuel capacity. Followed the instructions: add fuel, oil and connect the battery. All very intuitive. Started right at the first time. Switched fuel to gas propane without any hesitation. Terrific unit.

After filling up with oil and hooked up to propane, the generator start one first push on 40 degree day. 2nd day and later it required 2 or more push start. But on day one, it would not start no matter how many time i pull the recoil with or without adjust the choke. I only run the generator in breakin mode, change new oil, then store away for emergency. Have not yet put gasoline in the tank. Hope it will start when i need it.

This dual fuel generation is awesome and worked like a charm every time, the only time it didn’t was operator error I forgot to switch it from gas to propane. The push/ start button is great but the key fob starter is the ticket! The only con is it’s weight, taking in and out of the back of my truck is a chore, so I try keeping it near empty to avoid lifting that weight from 3.5 gallons of gas in the tank, the wheels and extending handle make it easy to move around even on uneven ground.

We purchased this generator for when the electric goes out. It was an easy pull for the first start. Since then we have used the remote start with no problems. It switches easily between full types and runs quietly. We are highly satisfied and are pleased with our purchase.
