We bought this Regalo Hide-a-way bed rail, extra long size, to go on our king size bed to insure that our blind dog would be safe while on our bed when we were away. (We do have a dog ramp that allows the dog to safely come up and leave the bed from the floor level). The description said that it would fit a queen size bed, but we found that it did fit our king size bed with no problem at all. This bed rail slides between the mattress and box spring with ease, along a grove, to allow the rail to not be in the way when not needed. We had no problem with assembly or use! It took about 3 or 4 minutes to assemble and another couple to attach it to the bed. We did have to take off the mattress to place the attachment catch-guard on the bed box spring. We have had it for about a week and have no problem with stowing it or pulling it out for use. Our dog was a little freaked out with the sounds of the rails clicking into the groves when locking in place, but I suppose most people will use this for their children and not their blind dogs! I highly recommend this Regalo bed rail as it provides coverage and safety for your child or even your pets!

So far, we are very pleased with the Regalo Hide-Away bed rail. The very first time we used it was on vacation. My husband said it was fairly easy to put together & the set up was easy. It worked great with the full-size bed on vacation & we're so glad we went with the extra long rail, as our little guy is all over the bed. Now we will put it together again & set it up for my son's twin bed at home. It seems very sturdy & I do not fear him falling out of bed. Great buy & would recommend to anyone with a squirmy toddler!

I had to really search to find the right bedrail for my 3 YO grandson. He sleeps over often b/c I watch him on Fridays. Not during nap time, but during the night, he had started falling out of bed. The trouble is that the twin bed we have is a captain's bed, which has drawers underneath, so there is no need for a box spring to which the strap is to hook onto, and the mattress actually sits down inside the bed frame about 2" all the way around. The strap fits snugly to the bottom of the mattress on the opposite side of the rail, and the rail fits snugly down inside the bed frame.

We purchased this bed rail for our 2 year old who is a bit big for his age. Haven't had it long, but so far it's held up great. Took a while for my husband to put it together, but now that it's up it seems very sturdy. The fold down feature is quite nice when changing the sheets, you just have to be smart about how you do it. The extra long length is nice too - he can be a wild sleeper and this nearly covers the entire side of his twin bed.

I purchased this bed rail for 3 reasons - 1) its length (longer that most) 2) its ability to remain on the bed by folding and sliding under the mattress 3) the color. It was somewhat difficult to assemble as the diagrams and written instructions are not on the same page and the diagrams are poorly marked. The length is not adjustable which is okay for me as I have stored it between the mattress and box spring. It appears well made and to be very durable. My 2 year grandson has night fears so I wanted white which I believe is more calming than a dark color.

I am very mechanically impaired but I put this rail together with only one assist from my husgand. The only thing is even though it said not for infants, I bought it for my 9 mo. old granddaughter. She did not like it, but I will put it up for when she gets older and it will be perfect. Very well made.

I puchased this bed rail for my two years old son full size bed; regardless of some of the negative reviews. However, I was very suprised when it was delivered within three days; It was very easy to put together without any problem and it's very strong and long enough to fit a full size bed from top to bottom. I love it even more because my son is now save in his bed without falling down. I truly recommend this product to anyone who's looking to keep their child or children save in their bed.

I would recommend this bed rail to everyone! My 19 month old grandson visited my husband and I for one week. We did not have a crib and we did not want to invest in one at this time. My husband & I put the rail together. At first it was difficult putting the mesh over the rail and zipping it up. Once that was done I pinched the zipper as instructed and it zipped immediately. It took us about 45 minutes to assemble because my husband did not want to read the instructions. It was a perfect fit for my queen size mattress. It was sturdy and safe. The rail fit very close to the mattress however we did place the comforter along the side of the rail as well. We wanted something between our grandson and the mesh. We love this product! This product is a lifesaver! It is a great investment and very economical!

This does exactly what I needed it to do! I have a 16 month old daughter that I moved to a queen size bed because she has a little sister on the way! The only resaon I gave it 4 stars was because its not made for a platform bed which I have. We made it work though. We laid 2 boxes that we flattened out underneath the mattress so the straps wouldnt slide between the wood slates. Shes rough with it just like any little kid would be. She will hold it while she bounces on the bed and pull on it but it doesn't go anywhere and stays in place! It took me about 20mins to put together and another 10mins to put on the bed with the help from my bf. I was a little skeptical after reading the reviews but SO GLAD I went and bought it! :)

Got it put together despite husband not wanting to use instructions. I looked at them and it was quickly put together. Fits great on king size bed. Easy to make bed with it on. Great at night time (co sleeping) and in the morning baby likes to rock against it on his knees (supervised). Great buy!
