Very sturdy and easy to use

I would definitely recommend this product. I like that it is extra long. It is very sturdy and easy to put up and down. I love that it can hide away under the mattress. The instructions were not very good, but it was still pretty easy to put together with some common sense.

GOOD!

I bought this because my 1yr old won't leave my bed. Since he going to be there I rather him be safe. Is really easy to put together. And it's really strong (I know this because my son would shake it like crazy! I wouldn't blame the item if it breaks!!! ). Really good for the price!

No more worries at night

My daughter has slept in my bed for over 2 years and then I decided to transition her to a "big girl" bed. I had placed pillows next to her but she would kick those off the bed in the middle of the night. After worrying every night I decided to do some research and found this item. I went with the extra long as it had the option to fold away. I put this together by myself even though the directions weren't completely clear but it's not hard to do. It has the easy fold away option. The one con is that Target has this same product for almost $10 less. I had already put it together then I found out the price difference. Since it was alreany up I took the hit as it would be too much energy to take it down and take it back to the store.

Strong and Safe

I purchased this item after reviewing the comments made by customers who found this to be a good product. I have to agree that this bed rail guard is serving it's intended purpose. It was a little difficult to assemble because as others mentioned the directions are vague, the pictures, and descriptions are very hard to figure out. If you have some assembly experience you should do just fine. But, the manufacturer flubbed up terribly in this aspect. I put it together by myself as gpa watched. It fits great on a twin "big girl"bed for our granddaughter. She is 30 lbs and 33" long, a very big girl for 17 months. The bed rail runs almost the entire length of the bed with some room to scoot in and out of at the end of the bed; which is great and I pushed the bed up against the wall so the other side is safe as well. Also I just put two mattresses on the ground and the rail fits between two mattresses; we didn't use a box spring or frame. At bedtime or naptime, I lay down with her until she falls asleep, then I go to my bed in same room and don't have the restless, and busy moving little one between gpa and gma. We couldn't sleep at all worrying she would fall out of our bed or we would roll over onto her. But, usually she was asleep with her feet in my ribs and her head in gpas lap. What a relief to have her in the bed next to us all safe and secure. Thanks Walmart and Regalo!!!!

Excellent

We purchased this product for our 2 year old grandson's visit. It was great. Easy to use and assemble. We have a trundle bed and were a little skeptical as to whether it would work but it slid between the springs and mattress with ease. Leaves him just enough room to get out of the bed.

Restful Nights Sleep

This product was easy to assemble and is super sturdy. My daughter (24 lbs) rolls against it when she sleeps without it budging! The rail is even high enough to work with her European Pillowtop mattress. When the rail is under the mattress it does cause a little rise in the mattress, but what do you expect, not a big deal in my opinion. I would highly recommend to all parents.

Regalo - Hide-Away Bed Rail, Extra Long

Received your product, the outside of the box was damaged, it was taped with packaging tape. But the inside frames weren't damaged, thank God. The instructions were not clear, I'm mechanically inclined, so their was no problem. This is the best bed rail, because it can be tucked inbetween the bed and out of the way.

So far pleased with product...

The set up was very easy for both my husband & I working as a team (I read the directions and he put it together.) The instruction booklet was very simple to read and understand and it couldn't have taken us more than 10-15 minutes to put the bed rail together. Our 3 year old son seems very safe and secure in his twin bed - thanks to the long length of this bed rail. We've only had it up for about a week and so far we are pleased with our choice in purchasing this particular product. We ordered it online and chose to pick it up at our local store (site to store); which was great because we saved on shipping and had no trouble in getting it. Hope this review helps!

Serves its purpose!!

I purchased this product because our queen size bed got smaller with the birth of our daughter. It keeps myself, my husband and our daughter from falling out of the bed. We only purchased one which allows us to utilize one side of our bed as a wall providing more space in the bed. I've put my own body weight against it and it is extremely sturdy. Fits firmly against my mattress, easy to use, works with our pillow top mattress and changing sheets is a breeze. I did try to put it away once and it was a little difficult to slide between the matress and box spring. At the same time I don't need to put it away daily so that's not a big deal for me.

Wonderful bed rail

I bought this bed rail to use on one side of my Queen sized bed. It's wonderful and I highly recommend it. Its a great length, and very sturdy. My son has already decided its a new obstacle course and climbs over it from the outside. 30lbs of baby swinging around on it and it doesn't budge. Its a great height as I have one of those tall pillow top mattresses and it still works great. It states that its best used between a box spring and mattress. However, my box-spring doesn't fit into my bed frame. So I had to use it without the box-spring. It still works great, as there was space between the mattress and the inside of the frame for it to slot into. However, this may not be the case with everyone's bed-frame. Mine is homemade and not store bought, so I don't know if it follows the same specifications as the standard Queen bed-frame. I found it very easy to follow the instructions and put it together (however, I have a knack for assembling furniture). I did find one step needs particular strength though. Luckily I am very strong for a woman and was able to manage on my own, but some people may need a little assistance when putting it together. The latches to lay the rail down are a little fiddly, but I only need to do this when changing the sheets. As I don't stow the rail away daily. Weighting all the pros and cons of this bed rail! I love it and would definitely recommend it!
