I Love This!!!

This product is just exactly what we wanted. It was easy enough to put together ... as long as we followed the directions carefully. We've been using is a few weeks and it still looks new ... its easy to change the sheets on the bed with this in place ... it is just perfect!

Waste of money

This railing was a waste of money on two points. On a personal level, we never used it, but I wouldn't rate a product poorly because of that. I did however rate it poorly because A) It took longer to put the railing together then it did putting the rest of the bedroom furniture together! I spent about 2 hours fighting with it before giving up and letting my husband have a try at it. B) It is made with pretty shoddy materials. The fabric ripped even though we did exactly what the instructions said to do.

Sturdy bed rail

This is my second bed real from Regalo. The first one I got was the Extra Long Swing Down Bedrail. After a couple of months of use, a metal part simply broke. The Extra Long Hide-Away appears to be more sturdy, and I am hoping it will last longer than the other one.

Good only for childs bed

I bought this rail for a twin bed that was mostly for my 3 yr old Granddaughter. The problem I have with it is the bed also will be used by an adult from time to time. The rail that is under the mattress is about 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 inch thick, which means there is a gap that big between the mattress and box springs, when I sat on the bed the pressure of my weight on the bar made the box spring sound like it cracked. This is a brand new mattress set and not a cheap one either. The rail would be fine on a platform bed or a bed used only by a child.

Good Buy

We've been using this bed rail for a year and a half. It completely does its job. The only reasons I give it 4 stars are because the plastic pieces that hold up the rail on the opposite side of the bed are a bit chincy, and one side of the rail doesn't smoothly snap into place. And yes, it does make making the bed a pain, but that's expected with any rail.

Great product

I purchase another bed rail at a different store. It was extremely difficult to assemble and just folded down to make bed. This one was much easier to assemble. The way it folds out of sight is greast for me since I will only be using it occasionaly for my grandchildren. The other one is definately being returned.

Exactly what we needed!

This is the best safety rail and I'm so glad we bought it! My husband and I had no problem putting it together and no tools were needed. (which I love!) We have a custom firetruck bunk bed and the top bed didn't have a rail. We bought this unsure how it would fit, but I couldn't be happier! Our 5 year old loves sleeping up there now, even the two younger kids climb up there and I don't worry about them tumbling off the edge even when shaking this rail. I did notice that if you do choose to slide the rail under the mattress, it would take two people as the locking pins are far apart, This isn't an issue for us though. I love the extra length and would recommend this rail to anyone needing a full length rail.

sturdy, durable, easy to clean, guard rail

i seen and had the smaller version of this guard rail many many years ago so i knew this would be a good deal. reasonable priced for the use it serves. my 2 year old granddaughter sleeps with me in 2 twin beds butted up against each other, forming a kingsize. but she always roams to the end of the bed at night. so when i seen this extra long guard rail, i was excited. having it at the end of both beds together resembles a footboard on a bed. i sleep better knowing she cant roll off the bed in her sleep. this product is worth every penny to be able to have peace of mind.

Ok for price but its cheaply designed

I bought this for my 2 year old nephew and the setup was easy to understand however the product seemed cheaply made cause a few places i had to bend the metal back to it's original shape because it was warped. The size is great for extra protection but defiantly wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Bed Rails ok

The bed rails are ok, we have them on both sides. For some reason we can't click the one on the left and push it under the bed...it may be a defective rail..My Husband is not willing to return it and have to suffer with putting another one together...how awful it was putting these together..terrible directions! What a pain! They do their job but I would not buy these again or recommend them, because the rails are on both sides they don't fit flush against the bed, about an inch out on one side..
