I purchased this bed rail because when my baby gets sick I like for him to sleep with me so I can hear him if he needs me. The bed rail gives me peace of mind knowing my baby won't fall off the bed and he will be safe. I can also use this bed rail when he is old enough to sleep in his own bed. The bed rail is worth the money and is not hard to set up. If you are not using it you can just tuck it away until you need it. You can't feel it under the mattress at all.

Easy to assemble, easy to use and easy to travel by vehicle. I also put a body pillow next to the rail for my three year old. PEACE of MIND and very cozy for her! Go the extra and get the extra long. P.S. Have it shipped to your closest store to avoid shipping charges!

This product is just exactly what we wanted. It was easy enough to put together ... as long as we followed the directions carefully. We've been using is a few weeks and it still looks new ... its easy to change the sheets on the bed with this in place ... it is just perfect!

We have a 22 month old we just switched to a daybed. This gate is the perfect length. It contains her and she has yet to try to get out of bed on her own. It seems very sturdy and holds her in as she sometimes ends up sleeping right up against the rail. It is a bit of a burden to hide the rail away, so that only gets done when company is coming over. It was very easy to put together--my husband put it together in less than 15 minutes. I would have given it 5 stars if it were a little easier to hide away, but overall it serves it's purpose and was the best price I could find.

This bed rail is exactly what it seems. I like that it is so long. I have a very tall 16 month old son and he was climbing out of the crib. So it was time to move to a big boy bed. It is durable and I think it was really worth the money. The only complaint I had was the assembley was pretty confusing. The directions are not too clear and the pictures are not detailed enough. However, ultimatley there is only one way to get it together. I took me about 45 minutes to assemble it. Overall I like it and would recomend it.

I have a 19 month old son who climbs on everything. We put this rail on a twin platform bed in his room and he climbs over the rail to get into the bed. I am not worried about it taking his approach to bedtime, it is durable, because it is on a platform bed, it is wedged between the platform and the mattress and it doesn't move when he climbs on it. I highly recommend this for anyone needing a bed rail for their child.

I'm very happy with the quality and function of this bed rail. I also really like its extra long length for extra protection for kids who move around a lot at night. It slides under the mattress nicely and has held up to kids hanging onto it to climb up and down out of the bed.

Bought this side railing for my 2 year old toddler whom we are currently trying to adjust to sleeping in a "big girl bed", and it has worked a charm! It's tall enough that if she stands on the bed, it gives her something to grasp on to. It is long enough that for a girl that wriggles her way down to just about the middle of the bed...it kept her well confined and safe, yet, she was able to get herself out of her bed in the morning without assistance. (which will work great when the potty training gets into full swing!) This product was VERY easy to assemble, and sturdy enough that it's standing up to my "little monkey jumping on the bed." I would completely recommend this product for anyone that only needs a single-side rail.

I bought this item for my 4 year old daughter. She and I share a room and she moves around a lot while she sleeps. She was falling off the bed often. We have carpet so she wouldn't get hurt but it would wake her up and disrupt her sleep. I took a chance on this product even though it says on the description that it only fits up to a Queen sized bed. I have a California King and it fits just fine. So for anyone out there that is letting the size limit stop you from buying this product, don't! The straps are plenty long for my Cal King mattress and the bed rail is completely secure. This is a great product and i would recommend this to a friend.

A very poor product. Poorly designed and poorly constructed. Installation is a nuisance and the end result is totally unsatisfactory. The "hideaway" feature is a joke. I would not recommend this product to anyone hoping to protect a toddler from falling out of bed. Back up a couple of kitchen or dining room stairs against the bed instead.
