I am very happy with this purchase, however, I bought the extra long hide away along witht he regular sized hide away. They will not hide while using both together. The rails under the mattress have to stack ontop of each other. I don't care, I just leave them up all the time. Just a heads up.

I was so excited to order this. It has so many great features. I loved that it was able to slide out of the way. It arrived and I opened the box and started putting it together. The directions were very vague and I had to put most of it together by pictures. It was a bit tricky in spots and took me a good 45 minutes to put together. I took it into my sons room and put it on the bed ( bottom part of bunk bed). It was an absolute hassle getting the darn thing on the bed. I then realized that it was just not going to work on a bunk bed. It needs to be between a mattress and boxspring to keep it stable. This was not mentioned anywhere on the box or instructions or anywhere. If I would have known this. I would have never ordered it and waited the 10 days to get it. I still can't see it being a good bed rail even if it was on a normal bed. It seems a bit cheap, and many of the piece I had were a little off so it was difficult to put together. My advice, look for a different bed rail, this one is just not worth the money or trouble.

It took so longer to get then it said it would and It wasn't what I thought. When my son was small we got a bed rail and it hooked to the mattress and I thought this one would to but you have to have a box spring to make this one work and my grandson' s bed doesn't we had to staple gun it to the platform of the bed. Would of looked for something else if it didn't take so long to get. Not happy with it.

This product is very easy to put together, my little one even helped. pretty sturdy. Does what it's suppose to. It only comes with one side. It does fold to be able to slide under the mattress so when it's not in use you don't have to see it & can make the bed. I did buy a second one for the other side of the bed but haven't put it together yet to see if you can have 2 that slide under the mattress. but should be able to, just can't have them perfectly even. but happy with the purchase.

As always, the shipping was expedient and in great shape.... the PRODUCT, however, once put together (it's not that difficult) managed to discombobulate after a week of use... the folding mechanism that allows it to lay flat and slide under the matress started to come apart almost immediately!!! Wouldn't recommend....

I love this product. My little son now sleeps on a big bed and I don't have to worry about him rolling off the bed. In the past, he would not sleep through the night in his bed but since he started sleeping on a big bed, he sleeps peacefully through the night and so far he hasn't rolled off. I bought the extra long to ensure it covers most of the side of the bed. I'm getting good value for my money.

This is a good rail. We purchased it for an adult, with special needs. My only complaint is that it is the ONLY one to pick from. There are not any other rails like this for the money or with the extra height and length we needed. Because this person is an adult, we actually buy one every year, as she bangs into it with adult strength. We will continue to buy this until we can qualify for a specialty bed for her.

I purchased this product because our queen size bed got smaller with the birth of our daughter. It keeps myself, my husband and our daughter from falling out of the bed. We only purchased one which allows us to utilize one side of our bed as a wall providing more space in the bed. I've put my own body weight against it and it is extremely sturdy. Fits firmly against my mattress, easy to use, works with our pillow top mattress and changing sheets is a breeze. I did try to put it away once and it was a little difficult to slide between the matress and box spring. At the same time I don't need to put it away daily so that's not a big deal for me.

This seems very sturdy. My son has not used it yet, but he has laid on the bed and rolled into it for me and it seems to hold him well. The only complaint is it is hard to pull the pins to hide away and it might not be so comfortable if an adult had to sleep on it. The bars under the mattress seem as if they would be very uncomfortable if you are not a kid. Also I thought the extra long one would be a great idea and I think it is a bit excessive. A regular one would be fine for a twin bed.

This bed rail does the job...it keeps our little one from falling out of his bed at night. But the metal that it is made out of is too flimsy. We've only had it a short time and it's already sagging in the middle. If an adult were using it and not leaning/climbing/playing on it, I'm sure it would be great. The "hideaway" feature is not very sturdy either. The directions for putting it together were not very clear. All in all, I wouldn't recommend the product, although it will serve its purpose for the time being.
