Love how quiet and strong the motor is as well the blades, both for slicing and shredding. The only problem is when grating cheese, cheese gets stuck under the edge of the lid. Not all the way around but just under the area where it latches down. I end up having to use a butter knife or something similar to get it out. Overall, I would buy it again.

Love this . Perfect size for me ,my old was maybe 25yrs old. This works so much easier. Just the way the lid goes on is really great. Happy with my purchase.

My new KitchenAid 7-cup food processor is very quiet and does a great job! My old mini-food processor died, and I'm really happy to have this new one instead.

I love this food processor!! It’s easy to use and very easy to change blades and easy to clean. It’s nice the bowl is a lift off not a twist off. It’s great to have 3 settings to choose from.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this food processor. I make homemade treats for my dog, and this has made the task so much easier. I find it relatively easy to clean, however sometimes the dough sticks in some of the crevices which require me to use a scrub brush to completely clean it. I love how all the blades store inside the bowl for storage.

I like that it doesn't have a giant hole in the middle. It does a good job making dough. I hate that when shredding/slicing the plunger doesn't get close enough to the blade and I was left with a ball of cheese rolling around cause they unit to shake. I ended up manually shredding. There is a smaller plunger piece but it easily falls to far down the hole and I was afraid it would be shredded.

Not a fan, too much space between blade and top of container, block off cheese kept getting stuck or just flew through without shredding.

We bought this to replace a processor we owned for 35 years. We liked the design and footprint of this model, especially the ability to store all the pieces inside. However, in the first use it was evident this machine just doesn't have enough power to take on certain food processing jobs. We were rather disappointed as we typically like the Kitchen Aid brands. Though the design gets an A+ we just couldn't rate it higher due to its performance.

Dies easily. Only last 2-3 years with once a week usage. Still looks new. Will not buy another one. Called service dept for kitchen aide, and was told nothing they can do to help, recommended I buy another one!

A hamster running on a wheel generates more power than this thing. it was made with cheap and flimsy plastic. the bowl does not attach securely to the base. the blade doesn't go down to the bottom of the bowl and correctly process the food. it just spins around the bowl. pressing the button to turn on is a roll of the dice........sometimes it comes on and others it doesn't. as the owner of kitchen stand and hand mixers, I expected better, much better. I will look into another brand
