Very glitchy and takes rebooting a LOT, do not recommend!

When it works it is great. The sensors are very finicky and will always say it has some sort of malfunction. I have to reboot and restart sometimes twice a week. The brushes are always getting tangled and have to be cleaned out almost very use. Dust will get on the sensor and then say it needs fixed when really it just needs wiped off (like almost every use).

I have tried other robot

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried other robot vacuums in the past, but was always frustrated with getting the robot to clean the areas that needed cleaning. This robot fixes that issue, I am able to create a map of my house and ask the robot to clean very specific areas or rooms. When the robot detects an obstacle, it sends me a picture and I can determine if it's truly an obstacle.

Fantastic vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love it! The vacuum does an amazing job keeping the floors clean. It does a great job navigating around the house and furniture. I also appreciate that it doesn’t get stuck on my rugs. I just love how easy it is and saves me time vacuuming my floors.

Only owned 3 months and can no longer use it

I brought a J7+ in March and it is now June and I keep getting error 26. I have cleaned the everything it rebooted, still getting error. It's suggested I buy a new cleaning module; I cannot find this for my module. How can something cost so much money to only last 3 months?! If I had known this I would've never purchased it. The sad thing is, I LOVED the vacuum up until this point. It cleans beautifully and the mapping of rooms is perfect. Still, I would've put my money towards an upright vacuum if I had known I would have this issue. I know have a very expensive, unusable item. Extremely disappointed

Simplifies cleaning floors .

I am very pleased with this iRobot cleaner and its self emptying station. Using this is convenient and simplifies cleaning my floors. This is quiet, holds quite a bit of debris before it returns to the emptying station. It has the power and battery life to clean all rooms in my house. Powerful suction that traps all or most of the debris. Especially dirt, dust and cat litter. Now for the navigation, it comes with steps and materials to program the system to your preferred destination and schedule. I recommend using this in your home on your flooring surfaces. Works great on my hardwood and tile floors.

Highly Disappointed

Highly disappointed with this product. I bought the j7 and it took months to figure the layout of a 2 bedroom home. Doesn't even vacuum things up and misses problem areas even after it goes over them. Very noisy, not Impressed at all. Definitely would not recommend if you have animals in your house. Not to mention it was running for 3 hours and didn't pick up a single thing of significance, but got stuck because a bag was on the floor in the bedroom that it somehow got around to go in there...

Errors

This product is great when it is working I have 2 dogs who shed a lot and it has helped a ton. But now I'm constantly getting error 26 and 30 and for an $800 price tag I'm already having to replace a major part such as the cleaning module head after less than 6 months of use. I can't recommend this to someone since the maintenance is costly and the price tag is high. It works great when it's working.

Avoids dog fur, but otherwise great

I have an Aussie that is constantly shedding year round, so I run my Roomba twice per day so it can keep up with her. It does great with avoiding things like dog toys, and messes she's made, but it also avoids dog fur when it ends up in clumps, hopefully I can work on training the Roomba not to avoid these, but otherwise it has been great!

The robot is very loud. Never completes cleaning

First of all, I am currently pregnant and my husband purchased the robot for me as a helper. However, newborns are sleeping like ALWAYS so basically I won't be able to use it AT ALL. Secondly, roomba NEVER completes cleaning without getting stuck. Overall dissatisfied. I regret that we paid so much for such a poor product.

Worth the price tag!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I grew up using a broom, a mop, and a traditional vacuum cleaner. Fast forward several decades and we now have products like Roomba. I plugged in the charging dock, set up the Bluetooth app and within minutes I was able to use it. Roomba will take a long time when you first “map” your house. Our downstairs took about 45 minutes. However, the next time it ran was about 30 minutes. It is strong enough to move something in the way (such as a pair of shoes), smart enough to go over lips and edges of a raised surface, but will maneuver around other objects. Be mindful that if there is a wall or table of some sort, Roomba will bump into it, adjust its angle, then repeat the process until it moves around it. Keep this in mind if you have a vase on a console table or something like that. The self emptying thing is cool, but you still have to empty the bag in the trash. I had to grab clumps of hair by hand while the smaller debris could be dumped out. Overall, I love it. However, I will still keep my broom and vacuum for quick cleanup. I see the Roomba being a good scheduled cleaner throughout the week (can be programmed). Also, it is pretty loud so keep that in mind.
