I love my Roomba vacuum cleaner, and I have two of these and they have done a very good job and yes, I would recommend it to my friends

I love this thing. Honestly, I was skeptical about using a robot vacuum. But I have to say that it’s done an awesome job with my floor. I have tile floors and I have 3 cats and a Dog. Floors are cleaned Monday Wed and Fri on an automated schedule. It learns your house and takes pictures of items as it cleans. Later in the report after it cleans you teach Roomba of those items are temporary obstacles or not. After a few times it will completely map your house. You can also integrate with Alexa and tell Alexa to vacuum a specific area in the house. Of course you will need to label the rooms first but honestly. This was a good purchase.

Cleans carpet and hard surfaces very well. Seems to covers areas completely. Can't comment on battery only J9 for about a month.

It does a great job and is fairly easy to use. We have a step down living room with a curved step down. It struggled a little bit and would get stuck on the edge. We added a keep out area and haven't had any problems since. Liked it so much, we bought one for my mother.

The Roomba J7 is an excellent robot when used on wood floors. The suction rating of this vacuum is lower than some other robot vacs but is enough when used on wood floors. I only have wood floors in my home, so this vacuum works great for me. The ability to recognize objects in its path is a great feature. No more cable caught up in the vac, like my Roomba 650 tends to do. For an on-sale price of $299, this was definitely a deal.

does not pick up as well as excepted. Had a cheaper brand for 4 yrs and it sucked up the dirt and dog hair much better. Also, the program for the floor plan isn't that great

Initially excited because we bought this as a doorbuster item for $300 off... However, when the sale was over the price stayed at that discounted rate. So that $300 off was a scam. Also, it stopped working after 3 weeks. We returned it.

This turned out to be either returned or refurbished because when I hooked it up it said that it was linked to another account. It's very noisy and has no suction. It loses the map all the time!

Hardware failure after the 4th run. I thought support helped me fix the problem… but immediately happened again. I emailed them… and haven’t heard back. My first iRobot has beeen awesome. (960)

DOA. I tried working with support for a replacement. They said it was out of production and it would be necessary to wait a week for a replacement. I did. Had to reach out to get it moving again. The replacement sent was a lesser model. Ended up returning both. Unfortunate.
