We run it 6 days/week 6 hrs/day. We upgraded from the i4 cause of my incontinent senior dog AND a golden retriever. The camera does see cords but not pee puddles or peepee pads ( we have wood floors). It twists them up and carries them off. However, it's priceless for the golden hair. I love the roomba.

Superior mapping of floors and the layout of rooms, equipped with a bright light and camera to be able to avoid obstacles and vacuum even in darkness, and paired with a comprehensive app that's easy to use and lets you customize your cleaning routine, this self-emptying robot vacuum is an essential appliance in my home I don't want to miss anymore. Admittedly, I was skeptical at first, but the j9+ Roomba has quickly and undeniably become my favorite cleaning tool. It truly is so helpful and takes so much time and work off of my hands, especially as parent with a newborn in the home. No more asking my teenagers for help and being left with less than desirable results. This j9+ robot vacuum cleans exceptionally well, removing even finest dust and hair, leaving floors looking and feeling clean. Equipped with a HEPA filter that filters out the finest dust particles and animal dander, strong textured rubber rolls to actively grab and pick up everything, and a self-emptying feature that deposits all dirt and dust into a disposable bag that self-closes when removed from the base. Of course there are some things that could be improved, too. I have encountered a couple of minor issues with this j9+ Roomba, one of which is that he doesn't clean around its own charging base, he also isn't able to reach under the front of our kitchen cabinets, and he cannot fit through our dining chairs' legs so I have to put the chairs up in order for the j9+ to vacuum under the kitchen table. Sometimes he randomly leaves the base on his own, he once got lost and couldn't find his way back after completing the task, and he once got stuck on top of the circular bases of two of our kitchen counter chairs, which was honestly quite funny to watch before we came to his rescue. Overall, the j9+ is excellent. My floors haven't felt this clean in a long time! I highly recommend it!

This product is great when it is working I have 2 dogs who shed a lot and it has helped a ton. But now I'm constantly getting error 26 and 30 and for an $800 price tag I'm already having to replace a major part such as the cleaning module head after less than 6 months of use. I can't recommend this to someone since the maintenance is costly and the price tag is high. It works great when it's working.

I figured it would be super noisy but it’s very quiet, I love the mapping of the house it does before you start it for the very first clean. It works amazing on hardwood floors, carpets and rugs small throw rugs you have to pull up or the rumba will get stuck on them but that’s fine you have to do that anyways with a regular vacuum. It’s very effective and efficient cleans my whole living room in under 10 mins. You can adjust the suction as well as the noise levels. The battery life on it is amazing as well, the battery last long if you set it on a small suction level vs a high suction level. Just depends on how dirty the area is that you’re trying to clean. The rumba came with an extra filter as well as the little wheel brush for vacuuming and an extra trash bag which is pretty big and I feel like will last a long time. Once the cleaning is completed the robot will automatically go back home and self empty everything you picked up during your cleaning schedule. I love mine and even though I received mine free for my honest opinion/review I would have definitely purchased it myself. It’s very convenient and works amazing even better than my push vacuum. Worth every penny!

I also appreciate that it doesn’t get stuck on my rugs. I just love how easy it is and saves me time vacuuming my floors.

After months of research I finally caved in and bought the J9+. I was absolutely excited until after my Roomba began to have multiple issues picking up my pet's hair as well as emptying its contents into the station. A machine of this price point should NEVER have issues this early. Very disappointed and looking to replace.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This roomba vacuum is absolutely fantastic. It is actually quieter than one of my older units and glides gracefully across the room. It has a camera on the front that is able to scan the location and will start to remember where it should and shouldn't go. The rubber rollers underneath are very convenient when it comes to cleaning. I just pop them out and remove any hair and lint wrapped around it by rolling it off. No longer need to cut the pieces of hair trapped in the brush rollers. I would definitely recommend this vacuum to anyone and everyone!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum has been a huge time saver for me. It was very easy to sync the vacuum to the app and get going. I love that after it did its mapping runs i was able to set up rooms, zones and label each one individually. I can easily set a schedule through the app for which rooms I want done at certain times or days. To do the whole house it takes about 2 hours and 50 min which includes a 58 min charging. It sends itself to the charger and once it has enough charge it finishes the job. I love it, and it's not too loud either. I do wish the debris bin was a little but bigger, but I just empty it out once it goes to the charging station during and after the job.

The new J9+ is definitely an upgrade over my old i7+, however it's still not quite enough to use for deep cleaning as a primary vacuum. I have a corgi and 2 cats and they leave a lot of hair. If I don't do maintenance vacuuming daily, it can accumulate. The daily maintenance may be exactly what this Roomba is best for - small amounts of hair on a regular basis. I tried running it after I had neglected the carpet for a week due to various life events and it just couldn't cut it. The battery life is definitely improved, though, and vacuuming our entire 3rd floor took less juice than our old Roomba vacuuming just the living room. Additionally, it picks up way more hair than the old device as well, with much better suction than we had with the i7+. I would recommend the J9+ if you're just looking for something to do lightweight maintenance but don't expect a deep clean.
