If you are deaf and want a vacuum that is so loud it will shake the walls of your house to alert you when it empties itself, then this is the product for you! If you are okay with your roommates resenting you and starting a group chat to talk about you behind your back because they hate you for buying this vacuum this is the product for you! Apparently, the genius' at irobot decided that the number one thing people dislike about new vacuums is how quiet they are so they totally flipped the script and provided us consumers with a Roomba whose self-emptying sound rivals the sound of fighter jets taking off. I used to live in a 4 person apartment and our roommate insisting on using this screaming vacuum monstrosity is the reason why we now live in a 3 person apartment. If I were to kill myself this Roomba would be featured heavily in my note, if you purchase this roomba it will destroy any quality of life you might have had.

Robot is very well built and Very Easy to set up. However, their Online Support is Horrible ! I sent in a question weeks ago now an to this date , No One has responded !! Sent several follow up msgs, but Nothing. A Very good product can be destroyed by Very Poor Customer Service.. Don 9/5/22

This new roomba I got is worst than the first. It randomly starts all night, playing it's charms to wake me up. I emailed for help and sent videos. They never responded. Then, on top of that, it will NOT clean in front of my bed or this random spot in the floor. I live in a studio apartment. It's. One. Room. How can that be this hard? I feel like this is worse than my first roomba that sucked up cat vomit. This one hasn't done that thankfully but it crashes into everything. Like it's scratched and cracked open in the front because it hit my walls THAT hard. I think the company just sends a worst replacement if they "help" you. This was so much money. I had the 600 series in 2015 and it was WONDERFUL. It did what it was supposed to do. I feel like the more advanced things get, the absolute worst problems they get too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this vacuum. It's quiet, efficient, and easy to use. We have a pretty busy household with multiple pets and it's very easy to schedule it to clean with our phone between the chaos. The room mapping is an excellent feature and makes it so much easier allowing me to send it to a particular room when it needs more attention. I've tried other brands of robot vacuums and this one by far is superior in every way. It has helped me gain more time not having to do a daily vacuum. I'm amazed at how much pet hair it cleans up and how well it does on our multiple surface types. I also love that it doesn't get stuck and is able to go around obstacles. The only cons that I've experienced is the size of the debris bin and that it doesn't like going over one of my bigger/thicker rugs. But, emptying the bin is pretty easy and it was able to map around my rug to clean around it. Overall, It's a great device and I would definitely purchase for what it is able to do and help with. I would recommend this to anyone with a busy household looking to save on cleaning time.

After many years with a 350 (>15) and an 880 (>10), it was time to upgrade. ( Both are still working fine, with the 880 having survived 2 poopacolypses). The J7 works as advertised. It's much gentler on the baseboards. It's location tracking and cleaning patterns is so much more efficient and ditching the lighthouses is so nice. The downside is that our middle of the night cleaning doesn't happen due to it needing some light. However, the efficiency of having the kitchen crumbed is well worth it. It works and remembers all levels of our tri level home and cleans better. It hardly ever gets stuck (once in two months) and avoids messing with clutter and shoe laces. Quibbles: 1. If the Roomba isn't on the base, it looses charge and dies. A problem if it gets bumped. 2. I wish it had a handle and a 'go home' button as it's finicky about being placed on its base. 3. It's bin is a little smaller than the 880, and it picks up more. 4. The app takes a while to connect and it takes ~30 seconds to connect get out of its out of the way place to empty- once a 5 second task with the 880 remote. 5. The app has still some development and has yet to show me any images to review either on the iPhone or Android version. Overall, a great improvement.

I wrote a big review, but it was not accepted by the web site. here I will send pictures of what this did to my oriental hand made carpets with it's rubber rollers. I called and asked if they carry replacement rollers that are not rubber, just like brush , like all other carpet. but they said no. so please do not buy or use for carpet

With 2 dogs, 2 small kids and a husband who works construction I was either vacuuming every day or looking at tumble weeds of dog hair and crumbs floating around my house. Not any more! The roomba j7 does it all for me! It navigates around obstacles easily! I was really worried it would have a hard time going over our thresholds from the kitchen slate tiles to the hardwood floors and every onto the carpets. Absolutely no worries. It climbs over everything with ease. If I don't run it every day o have to clean the bin out during the middle of cleaning. It's super easy to do though. 2 clicks and a dump! I have a dyson stick vacuum that's an absolute pain to clean the bin out so this was quite refreshing to have such an easy experience with. I love how you can easily program with your phone and it instantly sends alerts if something is wrong. I'll definitely need to purchase another one for my basement!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The roomba J9+ is an incredible vacuum. This vacuum is a high performing computer compared to a calculator. It feels light years ahead compared to a normal roomba. I've been a long time roomba customer as I have a golden retriever who sheds like crazy and my house has NEVER been this consistently clean. The vacuum is also extremely quiet. At one point I forgot that I had set it's schedule for 9am on a weekend and I didn't even know it was running until I got up to make coffee and it was doing is thing. The maps are very accurate and easy to work with. I spilled some dirt in my laundry room after tipping over one of my plants. I just sent my roomba over directly to the laundry and BAM spotless!! No need to take out my big vacuum. This product in comparison is light years in technology away from any other vacuum. The self emptying feature is also amazing. We have a pretty big house. It's first cleaning/mapping run took 8 hrs but boy the house was clean after that. The making features are A-MA-ZING too. After the robot's done cleaning your house it will let you know of any obstructions it identified and ask if they are permanent so they can avoid it in the future. In one room I have a large decorative mirror that rests on the floor. I used to always have my husband move the mirror so it wasn't hit by our old roomba. Now I can mark where I don't want the roomba to go. It's incredible it takes a wide path around any objects you mark as do not clean around. If your somebody who has vases or plants set for level this vacuum is a game changer. Honestly I know the price seems high but if you have dogs or cats who routinely shed, a large house, fragile items on the floor, or all of the above like me it is WORTH the price to get routinely clean floors and peace of mind that you're not going to come home to broken or damaged item All the while of having perfectly clean floors. This product is so distinctly different in Performance that i'm kicking myself for not getting it earlier. It's a game changer and worth the investment. It's truly not a mark up because it's pretty or fancier looking. No it is just THAT MUCH BETTER.

This roomba worked amazing for the first 6 months. After that, it does every stupid glitchy thing you can think of. Running into the wall over and over again for 45 straight seconds, stopping in the middle of the room and just running in the same exact spot for 45 straight seconds, sending me communication errors that you can't resolve, telling me to empty the bin over and over when it's supposed to be self emptying even when i just manually emptied it, it still says to empty it again and again. Every issue you can be sent, gets sent over and over. You wait FOREVER on the phone to get to a person and they all make you do the same things the person before made you do that doesn't work. They sent out a replacement roomba that does the exact same stuff. The person who helped me was nice but there's something deeply wrong with the program now and this roomba just flat out does not work any more. This is the most expensive piece of poop I've ever purchased and I'm so mad that irobot doesn't do anything to make it right. If you're looking at these before buying, you'll see many people saying what I'm saying. Believe us. This is awful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am just loving how well this Roomba Vacuum works, it vacuums the floors well and I really like that when the vacuum is full it will go back and empty it self and then continue vacuuming my floors. This vacuum is also pretty quiet picks up everything in its path and I also like that it sweeps the edges of the rooms. It is also easy to empty out the canister once it’s filled up.
