Great product.

It is great for a family like ours who is always coming in and out. We also have 3 dogs and we use to have to vacuum several times a day. Now with a roomba we can finally stay on top of all our other chores and have more time to hang out as a famliy, and with it's obstacle avoidance I dont have to worry about it getting stuck. To anyone who is thinking of getting one, I highly recommend this product.

Not up to expectations.

I have a Siberian Husky that sheds constantly. I bought the irobot to stay ahead of the fluff "glitter". It doesn't pick up haor in the one room that I need it the most (see attached picture). Also it is not able to cross the threshold into the master bedroom. It is helpful for other rooms but not what I expected performance wise.

Great tool for additional

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great tool for additional cleaning/maintenance around the house. Love that it cleans when I don't have the time, but with an infant in the house, it's too loud to run when she's sleeping and it doesn't clean quickly enough. It took multiple charges for it to clean a space that I could have vacuumed in just a few minutes. It also missed spots and needed assistance in certain locations as it would get stuck, suck up a curtain, or be unable to get past an obstacle.

I LOVE this Vacuum (YOU will to).

This product works AWESOME, I have had products like this (Sam###g) and they worked, BUT they never avoided objects (we had a dog that was getting up in age and occasionally had accidents in the house ‍ what a mess) those could not be controlled anything like this or go to a specific area you need to clean and finds the docking station every time and empties into the storage bag. The biggest thing I noticed was around my dining room table and all the chairs WITHOUT bang bang bang trying to navigate around all the chairs it senses them and actually cleans around everything. IT ALSO gives me suggestions for cleaning areas and when it's shedding season and in AZ dust is always a problem. Another great feature is my ability to set up "NO GO ZONES" the vacuum listens and learns ALL the rooms in our house. I still have 2 dogs and a cat and this vacuum is AMAZING and keeps all my floors (hardwood & carpet) looking and feeling great and the pet hair cleaned up!!! Plus ANY charging cords or plug inn cords this vacuum has NEVER pulled one in or been a problem. I 100% recommend anyone getting this you won't be disappointed !!!

Simplifies cleaning floors .

I am very pleased with this iRobot cleaner and its self emptying station. Using this is convenient and simplifies cleaning my floors. This is quiet, holds quite a bit of debris before it returns to the emptying station. It has the power and battery life to clean all rooms in my house. Powerful suction that traps all or most of the debris. Especially dirt, dust and cat litter. Now for the navigation, it comes with steps and materials to program the system to your preferred destination and schedule. I recommend using this in your home on your flooring surfaces. Works great on my hardwood and tile floors.

Amazing

I am a self-admitted Roomba fanatic. This is the fifth robot (+ a mop) I've owned and by far the most impressive. It's mapping capabilities are impressive and accurate. This robot does not get stuck. It starts when it's supposed to and parks itself without fail. The dustbin is over full every time I empty it which is every couple of days, and I'm amazed how much fits in there as well as a little grossed out. This robot is nothing short of amazing.

Self cleaning

Vacuums like a dream! Just download the App from the App Store and the Robot is off running doing its thing. Cleaning is not so much of o big chore anymore since I bought the new IRobot Roomba j9+. This little robot takes is very simple to setup, first download the IRobot home App follow the simple setup instructions connecting it to your home net work. Then set up a mapping of the entire house ( will take 90 minutes or so) then set up a schedule within the App. Once all that is done it's off working for you. The home docking station is where it will charge and empty its container of dirt from vacuuming the floor. The Robot is pretty quiet while it is running its coarse, but while it is docked and cleaning out the dirt it has collected into the filter inside the docking station it gets pretty loud. The bottom has two rubber wheels that grip really well on carpet or tile and has sensor and cameras that detect objects. Overall it's a really great vacuum and cuts my cleaning time in half.

Work in progress

We have two large very furry dogs. That said I had to get used to the fact that it needed to be emptied pretty much after every room. I also learned that the filter needs to be replaced at least every two weeks if not before during the winter with the dirt/ mud and dust. I do like some of the convenience of the vacuum but I am not sure it was worth the money I paid for it. Again I work in progress not giving up just have to be more aware of what the vacuum needs.

Roomba plays music all night starts randomly

This new roomba I got is worst than the first. It randomly starts all night, playing it's charms to wake me up. I emailed for help and sent videos. They never responded. Then, on top of that, it will NOT clean in front of my bed or this random spot in the floor. I live in a studio apartment. It's. One. Room. How can that be this hard? I feel like this is worse than my first roomba that sucked up cat vomit. This one hasn't done that thankfully but it crashes into everything. Like it's scratched and cracked open in the front because it hit my walls THAT hard. I think the company just sends a worst replacement if they "help" you. This was so much money. I had the 600 series in 2015 and it was WONDERFUL. It did what it was supposed to do. I feel like the more advanced things get, the absolute worst problems they get too.

Definitely does not avoid obstacles

My family generally picks up all of the pet toys and any other items on the floor however, the one time we happened to miss something it really became a huge mess. This robot guarantees that it avoids pet messes, let me tell you first hand that it DEFINITELY does not. Then I contacted customer support, have a case number and everything. They say give them 48hrs. It's been over a week and haven't heard a thing back yet. Idk why we paid for the protection plan to not get any service or help. I'll do you all a favor and spare you the pictures of the mess.
