[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are thinking of buying do yourself a favor and get one. We have two German Shepards and vacuuming everyday is a must. In my process to find the perfect vacuum this godsend was sent to me. I use this vacuum set on the Roomba app to vacuum certain areas certain days of the week. It has mapped my whole house so I can choose if I want to change the cleaning schedule. I still use my upright shark once a week to get in all the square corners this doesn't reach and to get that deep down vacuum. This is perfect for anyone my huge family and animals, an elderly person can use this without having to struggle with a push vacuum. I just can't believe a vacuum can clean as well as this does.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this for a month and I love it so much. I have mostly floor and just one rug in my house and it cleans very well. It goes to each and every corner and I love that it takes the picture when some hurdles come in its way, and I can just review them and resolve them from the app, another thing I love about it is self cleaning it just empty its dust bag and the suction bar is great. I am so impressed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The vacuum works fabulous on wood and tile flooring. It does pretty well on carpet and thick rugs, but on my one low pile rug it leaves clusters and smears of hair. Its easy to clean and works in a clear and concise pattern.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum has been a huge time saver for me. It was very easy to sync the vacuum to the app and get going. I love that after it did its mapping runs i was able to set up rooms, zones and label each one individually. I can easily set a schedule through the app for which rooms I want done at certain times or days. To do the whole house it takes about 2 hours and 50 min which includes a 58 min charging. It sends itself to the charger and once it has enough charge it finishes the job. I love it, and it's not too loud either. I do wish the debris bin was a little but bigger, but I just empty it out once it goes to the charging station during and after the job.

The roomba J9+ is an incredible vacuum. This vacuum is a high performing computer compared to a calculator. It feels light years ahead compared to a normal roomba. I've been a long time roomba customer as I have a golden retriever who sheds like crazy and my house has NEVER been this consistently clean. The vacuum is also extremely quiet. At one point I forgot that I had set it's schedule for 9am on a weekend and I didn't even know it was running until I got up to make coffee and it was doing is thing. The maps are very accurate and easy to work with. I spilled some dirt in my laundry room after tipping over one of my plants. I just sent my roomba over directly to the laundry and BAM spotless!! No need to take out my big vacuum. This product in comparison is light years in technology away from any other vacuum. The self emptying feature is also amazing. We have a pretty big house. It's first cleaning/mapping run took 8 hrs but boy the house was clean after that. The making features are A-MA-ZING too. After the robot's done cleaning your house it will let you know of any obstructions it identified and ask if they are permanent so they can avoid it in the future. In one room I have a large decorative mirror that rests on the floor. I used to always have my husband move the mirror so it wasn't hit by our old roomba. Now I can mark where I don't want the roomba to go. It's incredible it takes a wide path around any objects you mark as do not clean around. If your somebody who has vases or plants set for level this vacuum is a game changer. Honestly I know the price seems high but if you have dogs or cats who routinely shed, a large house, fragile items on the floor, or all of the above like me it is WORTH the price to get routinely clean floors and peace of mind that you're not going to come home to broken or damaged item All the while of having perfectly clean floors. This product is so distinctly different in Performance that i'm kicking myself for not getting it earlier. It's a game changer and worth the investment. It's truly not a mark up because it's pretty or fancier looking. No it is just THAT MUCH BETTER.

I brought a J7+ in March and it is now June and I keep getting error 26. I have cleaned the everything it rebooted, still getting error. It's suggested I buy a new cleaning module; I cannot find this for my module. How can something cost so much money to only last 3 months?! If I had known this I would've never purchased it. The sad thing is, I LOVED the vacuum up until this point. It cleans beautifully and the mapping of rooms is perfect. Still, I would've put my money towards an upright vacuum if I had known I would have this issue. I know have a very expensive, unusable item. Extremely disappointed

We have a white German shepherd and if you know you know . Our house is full of white fur that's gets everywhere and is never ending. We had the Roomba I3 and decided to upgrade to the J9+ vacuum. WORTH IT !!!!! We have it run and now I feel like we have our house back . The self empty features is amazing !!! Beforehand I would have to empty it out several time on a clean because of all the fur. Now when it gets full it goes to the base and self empty and continues with the clean . I love my roomba and it makes me feel so much better coming home to a clean house and not having to worry to vacuum everyday .

I've had nothing but problems with mine for the last year and a half with internal issues from the company. They are not now doing anything for my product as there is ANOTHER internal issue saying it's not under warranty. Nothing but issues, do not recommend!! Definitely a waste of money now I'm stuck with a useless roomba and they won't do anything about it or offer any type of solution.

It created a map of my floor plan and gives me the option to review perceived obstacles and designate Keep Out Zones. I suggest using the mapping feature prior to vacuuming because it goes much faster. Then enter room dividers and other information that Roomba needs to run a complete, thorough job. My old 960 took hours to clean our 1200 sq ft home. The j7 takes 75 minutes with 1 stop to recharge. After recharge, it goes back to where it missed! So cool!

First off the design is very compact and attractive. I love the silver top and matte black finish. It's super easy to keep it clean. The navigation is very impressive. Most of my debris is picked up after each run but on some runs it does miss spots. Not as loud as an upright so you can run it when you're home. Easy to maintain and clean. My only issues have been software related. I had to create a new map because the only got corrupted when it kept updating it after each run. It will randomly reboot and some times it freezes. Even with these issues it's saves me hours of my time and keeps the dust and dirt at bay.
