I've had nothing but problems with mine for the last year and a half with internal issues from the company. They are not now doing anything for my product as there is ANOTHER internal issue saying it's not under warranty. Nothing but issues, do not recommend!! Definitely a waste of money now I'm stuck with a useless roomba and they won't do anything about it or offer any type of solution.

I've had a few different robot vacuums over the years starting with the original Roomba. Recently had a shark vacuum that decided it had an appetite for cat poo and decided I needed to upgrade. This new Roomba was worth every penny as I no longer have to worry about it running over a cat toy and getting hung up and there's no more worry about it dragging a terd throughout the house. I was also impressed with how clean it left every room it cleaned. I'd recommend this to anyone, but especially people with pets

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to try the Roomba vacuum for a long long time. After owning a Shark robot vacuum , I would say that the Roomba does a better job in terms of mapping your house and cleaning. The battery life of this vacuum is also very long. My upstairs is about 4,000 sq ft and it vacuums the whole area on one charge. One thing I do not like about this vacuum is that it's very loud. It sounds like a tractor while driving around and cleaning. It also makes the most loudest sound when emptying its bin. If you have napping children in the home, this vacuum will definitely wake them up. It also gets stuck A LOT, so unless you have an absolute bare and clutter free space, you cannot leave this vacuum unattended for the duration of the cleaning as it will get stuck. Overall, I would give this a 3.8 rating.

These roombas are the most difficult things to use and set up even for a young person that is good with technology. My roomba took at least 10 tries for it to finally connect to our wifi. After a week it somehow got disconnected again and after several attempts to connect it again it has the error 25. I tried to reboot it but now it's just dead/froze and it's only a week old. Not to mention my first one had to be sent back because it would not work for longer than one minute because the bumper kept getting stuck.

Vacuum cycles worked well for the most part, although the bin is almost too small to complete without having to be emptied. Set it to vacuum more often and that helped a lot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I cannot rave enough about how much I absolutely love the Roomba j9+ Robot Vacuum! This has to be, by far, the fanciest and smartest vacuum I have ever owned. I named him Ricardo and he is my new best friend! I love that this vacuum can be operated through my phone and that I can be at work and set my vacuum to go off while I'm away. This vacuum is much more high-tech than previous robot vacuums I have tried, especially with it operating through an app. I also I am greatly fond of the fact that it cleans either carpets, hardwood floors, vinyl floors, etc. It cleans any type of floor you have. I love that it is self cleaning, and it empties itself as well! As far as cleaning goes, absolutely amazing! It gets up dirt better than any other vacuum I've used or seen. It also does not tangle up floor rugs, but will go over the floor rug and vacuum it as well. The vacuum is so smart that it maps out your home, and you can set it up to do so many different things in the app. You can schedule cleanings, tell it to vacuum a certain area, or just tell it to go to work through the app. It is whisper quiet, except for when it empties itself, as where the older ones were very loud. The only problem I found with the entire thing was that it comes with no directions on how to set it up, so anyone who is new to a robot vacuum would not know how to use this very easily. I recommend that Roomba add instructions to the boxes that they ship these out in. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who's looking for a robot vacuum. This piece of garbage doesn't have enough suction to handle normal pet hair and dirt tracked in. Support can't fix anything permanently, so they send you a new one when the one you have won't do anything. Then it's just a matter of time before you repeat the process with the new one.

It does take some time to clean the entire apartment and it’s only ok on the carpet/rugs. Love the self emptying feature! Overall this is a great product with low maintenance. Would recommend!

I own almost every vintage of iRobot robots. I have been a customer for 20 years, having owned one of their first robots. This i5+ is a piece of junk. What concerns me most is the number of times I have called and the lack of support I have received. This episode now has gone on for over 5 weeks. Daily phone calls yield nothing. Calls to corporate yield nothing. At this point in time, there is literally nothing iRobot can do which will make amends for this fiasco .

I have (2) I Robot Vacuums and a Mop. The J& is by far my favorite. It mages to clean my kids room avoiding all obstacles the kids leave in their rooms. I have noticed that sometimes the Robot does not follow the same mapping and bumps into door frames. Normally a rest solve that issue and it works great. The J7 is not perfect but I still love it and would buy it again.
