Best Front load washer
I’ve only had this about a month but I absolutely love this washer! My previous washer was a LG top load, was sad when it gave up the ghost! Before that one I had a front load by whirlpool & swore I would never have another front load (it was not a good machine) but LG has hit this one right out of the park!! It’s quick and larger so less time in the laundry room!!

Great Washer
Did a lot of research and price comparisons before purchasing. Wanted something with a larger capacity and ran across this washer. Read many reviews and decided this was the one. Has taken some time to figure all the features out, but making progress! The LG Thin Q app is a great added feature and is helpful with reminders. Our only issue is cosmetic, but the markings on the touch buttoned for power and start/pause have already worn away in 8 months?!?

I've used it on two loads so far, but reading the do's and don'ts.....don't use softner, I have two bottles there at home. Not just going to throw away. Don't put mats with rubber, how are you to wash bath mats? Dry the machine after your finnished with it, come on, we have enough to wash the clothes for the family only to clean the machine also........

Failed rotary knob controller
I bought Model WM4200HBA washer S/N012KWAT3J752 a few years ago, and it has one big problem: The rotary knob no longer sequences, it takes lots of spinning to get the lighted indicator to follow along. This seems to be a common problem needing the rotary knob controller replaced. Did LG fix this manufacturing defect, as my research shows other owners have the same problem.

LG Mega Capacity Smart Front Load Washer and Dryer
The symbols on the display panel buttons completely faded in 3 months. Since this is cosmetic is is not covered under warranty. There were several occasions where water has leaked out from the door of the washer and ruined my hardwood flooring. If you put the dryer temperature on high, the inside metal grate burns leaving a permanent dark burn spot on the grate. The dryer senses clothes are dried, but still damp. .

quits before rinse and spin
My washing machine, 3.5 years old, has been quitting for the last 2 years, intermittently, whenever I try to wash. A U5 or U6 error pops up. It quits with a light load, heavy load, and on any cycle I was told to unplug it for 20 minutes. This worked a few times, but now it does not. I don't have money for a new washing machine.
LG Washing machine Drainage Pipe Stinks
Washer smells. Please do not buy this product. As a customer LG is expecting is to do some mechanical work. Drain the water that stinks every month. This is Health Hazard issue. The engineers need to look into this issue.
