My wife pointed out the advantages of this model with French doors and the freezer on the bottom. And correct she was. The LG is well lit top and bottom. The arrangement of shelving is most convenient for our use. The noise level is a bit above our previous unit but that is a minor item. We are well pleased with our purchase and would make it again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the look and the size of this refrigerator/ freezer. so far it (the motor/ compressor runs real quiet and seems to cool / freeze perfect...one thing that's annoying is the fact that there is some kind of vibration in the door shelfs that makes any jar or glass container ie steaksauce, mustard jar, pickles etc..rattle. I constantly have to adjust these items to get rid if the rattle...otherwise like I said so far so good.

In order to slide it out far enough to get in the ice container, the tray needs to be lifted up and also needs to be lifted back up to get it back. That shelf catches and doesn’t pull out far enough to access ice. Everything else, so far I love. And it seems like whoever designed this model didn’t contemplate actually using the freezer and it would be such an easy thing to fix.

I have contacted LG Electronics but need to reestablish an appointment for a serviceman to check out the noise. I have a 5 year warranty on the refrigerator.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Rather than make room for a larger fridge, I bought a smaller model so I wouldn't have to do construction to make it fit. This is my third French door refrigerator and the smallest, and I can't really tell the difference in size. I much prefer the ice maker inside and the bottom freezer still has lots of space. The only thing that is a little time consuming is keeping the outside clean. It's my first stainless steel fridge, and I do wipe it down religiously, daily to keep it looking smudge free.
