[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were very happy with this appliance until the compressor prematurely failed on it. We were surprised since the unit was less than four years old. Previous fridges I have owned last for at least 10 years without problems. One major design deficiency the fridge has is that it does not warn you that the compressor has failed. It still sounds like it is working. It was only when we found the melted ice cram in the freezer that we know something was wrong. Since LG are none to have compressor that fail often, it should have an alarm that goes off when the temp drops too much. The good news for us is that LG paid to have the defective compressor replaced. It only took 24 hours for them to get a service person here—that par to it was positive. We are now looking at getting a replacement, since we have lost confidence in our LG refrigerator.

After reading some reviews online and comparing design, reliability and interior layout we decided to go with LG. I couldn’t be happier, this fridge is small on the outside (small kitchen) yet is so spacious inside, you will not regret choosing this model.

Purchased the refrigerator about 3 weeks ago and don't know how I got along without it! It runs quietly and everything in the frig is where you can see it. Love the freezer with the slide-drawer at the bottom instead of the top. All in all i can't say a bad thing about it. Great purchase!

This was a great value and we love all the extra space we have compared to our old 30" fridge with the freezer on the top. The bottom freezer space is much more easily accessible and organizable and we LOVE the deli tray at the bottom of the fridge. It is HUGE! The only complaint that I have is that it does show fingerprints very easily and we were told that it was a print-proof model.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far I am extremely happy with the purchase of the LG French Door, Bottom Freezer refrigerator (LFCS22520S). The space we had in the house dictated a narrow (28-30 inch) unit and we did not anticipate getting one with this much volume. The linear compressor is extemely quiet and even the built in ice maker is not too noisy.

I have contacted LG Electronics but need to reestablish an appointment for a serviceman to check out the noise. I have a 5 year warranty on the refrigerator.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had it about 3 weeks. The freezer is much better at getting products frozen and keeping them there, ice cream is firm, again. We like the drawers for vegetables and fruit, the largest full drawer is great for deli items. The door chime is also a good feature.My husband has Parkinson’s and freezer on the bottom design was a big selling point for us.

Compressor failed after only 4 yrs. Our other fridges we’ve had ( one lasted 25 yrs, the other abt the same) . Repair guy here 3 times bef finally fixed. Thought we’d like the Fr Door with bottom freezer but not so much. Like the French door part but bottom freezer is jyst as annoying as a top or side by side. Ideal would be two separate units - one whole just fridge and one who just freezer - upright- standing next to ea other. Need a huge kitchen for that.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My KitchenAid refrigerator was still working well, but, after 20 years, I wanted to replace it before it gave up. I looked and looked, finding it difficult to find something with a bottom freezer that would fit into the space available in my 1920s home. Then I saw this, and thought it would work. It fits, and also seems so roomy inside. It's bright, which makes it easy to find what I need. And I don't have to open both doors to retrieve what I need. I'm also living the freezer on the bottom. I find the switch to turn off the ice maker is a bit hard to reach, but it's a minor point.
