Great fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of the few 30" that had the french doors and bottom freezer like we wanted. All french door fridges are limited in door space and how you can arrange the shelving. Overall, though, we haven't had any issues with the fridge and love it.

It moves upon opening doors

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon opening any door the whole refrigerator. moves forward , upon closing it "jerks" the whole fridge. Had to remove one shelf for taller items, no place to put that shelf as not enough slots to hold a shelf. Chose this fridge for size, most other were too tall.

Great refrigerator !!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this refrigerator a month ago + I absolutely love it !!! I'm glad LG makes a French door style of this size. I reside in a condo + am limited to the size of refrigerator that will fit. This fits perfectly + the stainless steel adds a sharp, updated look to my kitchen. This refrigerator functions quietly + has several nice features.

Unpredictable, inconsistent temperature control

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this refrigerator in January 2023. The BIGGEST PROBLEM: In March, we noticed that sometimes items in the fridge compartment were getting frozen even though we had the thermostat set to 38° or 39°. Sometimes we could thaw meat in the fridge – other times it would still be rock hard frozen two days later. We’d wake up to find salads frozen and ruined or the milk chunky. It wasn’t always stuff in the same location either – top, bottom, middle, left, right – and it wasn’t consistent. For a couple months, we tried rearranging things and making sure vents weren’t blocked to see if it would get better, but it kept happening. A separate thermometer placed on the middle shelf confirmed that it was sometimes getting down to 31 degrees in the fridge despite being set to 38. But we couldn’t just turn up the temperature because sometimes it really was close to 38, and if we turned up the temp to be in the 40s, we’d risk bacteria growing during those warm spells. SMALLER PROBLEMS: The supports underneath the split-shelving in the center of the fridge are so tall that you can only put very flat items under them. And do NOT try to slide anything from one side to the other because it is likely to catch on the supports. The fridge actually holds a lot less than other fridges of the same outer dimensions because of the way things are structured inside.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I'm happy with this refrigerator. It looks very beautiful and runs quietly. I've owned it for a few weeks now and have had no technical problems with it. As others have noted it is necessary to remove a rack in order to make a space with enough height to store tall bottles. The configuration of the shelves means that there are few options to move things around and I had to remove the rack altogether as there was nowhere else to put it so I think more consideration could have been given to the shelving design.

Great for a small family

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm writing this review after about 4 months of using the fridge. The fridge is sturdy with a modern design. Very sleek and easy on the eyes. The cubic feet is a decent size for a small family. It holds a good amount of food in the fridge. As for the freezer, my family stores quite a bit of frozen food so it does lack some space there, but we're still able to manage the room given with a little bit of Tetris. Overall, the fridge is a great buy for the quality, design and functionality.

Good so far

Had the fridge a week. Fit a tight space. Was hard to find a stylish fridge for the space - most were old school top freeze designs. Chilled down as expected. Space is good. Doors can hold large containers. Enough shelf adjustability for the size/design. Bottom freezer is straight forward. Ice machine is working so far as expected. Louder than the big super expensive fridge at primary residence but fraction of cost. Opening both French doors a must to do anything but grab a beer from the door storage. Finger prints are fairly noticeable which may bother some. Hopefully it keeps working as it is. I don’t like fridge drama.

Great Refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago, to replace a side by side. ThIs is a much more convenient with the freezer in the bottom and all fridge on top. Love the alarm that sounds, if the door is not completely closed.

No problems!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this about three weeks ago and are very pleased. We were limited by space and had to have a fridge that was no taller than 68" - which severely limited our choices. However, based on the reviews we had read we decided to go with the LG. I'm very pleased. Most of the negative reviews I had seen indicated a problem with relocating the shelves. As long as both doors are opened, I have had no problem. I have plenty of room - am having to rearrange periodically to get things "just right" but that's just personal preference. I like the lower freezer - much more convenient. The only noise I ever hear is the sound of the ice maker dropping the new ice. Would have liked to have a through the door ice dispenser - but due to my size limitations that was precluded unless I wanted to go with a side by side (which I didn't). All in all we are pleased.
