I found while researching this site that this fridge doesn't have a replaceable filter for water going to the Ice maker. This info is only available if you search reviews. Hopefully, there are no other shortcomings LG forgot to mention.

We are 2 weeks into using our new refrigerator. I would have loved a larger one but our space was limited. The only downside so far is the drawer in the freezer. It is noisy when pulling the drawer out to get ice & putting the drawer back in place. We don't have water to the refrigerator. We make ice in trays on the right side of the drawer and store the ice on the left . Hopefully over time the "ice drawer" will hold up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the adjustable glass shelves, and adjustable door compartments. The internal light in the fidge and in the freezer are great! There's a lot of storage in the pull out freezer door, that has divided shelves in freezer.

The stainless steel finish is not fingerprint proof but it keeps clean nonetheless. I love that it has the soft sounding alarm to let you know the door has been left ajar. Great buy!

I really wanted french doors with the freezer on the bottom & the models we saw were out of our price range. This is a great refrigerator at a really great price, especially when you are on the retirement budget. It's quiet as well. I am very happy with this refrigerator and think you will be too.

I was told this model has compressor issues. DONT BUY FROM LG. Life is not Good with them. My food spoiled and LG left us without a fridge for almost two weeks. My children and I went forced to eat out of a cooler, like that is acceptable.

I definitely would have chosen a larger one that could hold whole gallons of milk. Some days it's very cold, some days it's not & I've thrown food & beverages away since I've had it. Have a repair tech coming out on Wed to look at it.
