The refrigerator worked perfectly for 3 years, then nothing. Opened the door one morning and a whole fridge / freezer full of food is warm. A lot to pay for a fridge that only lasted 3 years. The compressor comes on for a few minutes then stops. Apparently this is a problem with this company

My husband is tall, so he is enjoying the freezer on the bottom, with everthing else easy acess on the top. Overall very happy with our purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 3 months ago to replace my vintage 1970's GE side by side refrigerator. So far it has save me about 75% on my electric bill and has kept my food so much fresher than my old one. Unfortunately I am still waiting for a needed hinge redesign of mine and all others of my model. The French doors do not open far enough to be able to remove and adjust the shelves. It is a minor problem, but on that has not been addressed as yet. I hope LG quality control was better on the rest of my refrigerator.

I was a little disappointed in it, because it was scratched on the outside and parts of the inside showed some damage/wear as if it had been previously used. I was expecting a new fridge, not a used one. For the space that I have, this was a perfect size, but I seem to have loss some space (square footage), but it is a beautiful fridge and I will make due. I love the fact that I only have to open one side, which saves on my energy bill and have arranged it so that frequently used items are all on one side. I’m still a little confused about the temperature settings on the fridge vs. freezer, but at this time it’s not an issue and I’ve left the settings the way the techs set it up. Another thing that I like is the alarm to let me know the door is left open. This is not an issue at this time, but I know it becomes one in time. Overall, I think I will enjoy this new purchase.

I've had this refrigerator for only a few weeks, but have found it to be whisper quiet, well thought out and refined. I like the fact the the shelves are split-level adjustable and there are individual shelves and compartments for different types of foods. I noticed that there are reviews on here that mention that there's not enough room to store taller items, like wine bottles. However, I have not had this issue-- while it's true that storing the taller items in the main compartment of the fridge is challenging, simply adjusting the lower shelves on the doors solves this problem.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The thing we noticed is the ice maker, when the water pump shoots water into the ice maker, it makes a loud whooosh sound. It is pretty loud through the house. Other than that, it working great. We like the freezer on bottom.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago, to replace a side by side. ThIs is a much more convenient with the freezer in the bottom and all fridge on top. Love the alarm that sounds, if the door is not completely closed.
