I had a no name brand for 3half years.. nothing ever broke.. it's still working.. I have this one from March and already had two things break on it. I was disappointed only one brush.. My cheap no name goes long and has 2 brushes..and not one part has broken on it..

I've had Robbie for over a year now. I bought him on a whim when I noticed him on the clearance rack of a local big box. Must have been an unopened return of an item they normally didn't sell at that branch. I'd been aware of these, but the price kept them kind of low on my priority list. Now I don't think I'll ever be without one. One person, no pets, one floor home with mostly carpet and tile floors. I have him set to run twice a week. I do have to remember to pick up anything that he might get tangled in, but that's actually OK. I have a couple of pieces of furniture that sit at just the right height that he occasionally gets wedged under and can't get out, but that's my only problem. I get that this model doesn't have the advanced features of the higher end ones, but I'm super satisfied for what I paid. That said, I will eventually trade up!

I love the product. I schedule the cleaning time and walk away. When Rosey is finished I empty the bin. This is a simple process. I have area rugs and hardwood floors in my house and I only need to dust the moldings. Rosey does such a great job I plan to purchase the Braava mop for the kitchen, bathrooms and family room.

I have Rosie scheduled to start a clean every day at a time when most of us, regardless of the day of the week, are typically out of the house. She does a great job of getting all of the dog hair that gets shed, as well as getting dirt and crumbs that get spread around the house. As a result of having her, we have also become more disciplined in making sure that there isn't anything left on the floor that she can suck up into her wheels, like usb charging cables, shopping bags, clothes, or shoelaces.

Without a doubt Higgins saved our dog Lunas butt. We got Higgins about 3 months after getting our dog. I'm a single dad and a bit of a neat freak with 2 boys I already clean up after. Our dogs a shedder and I was having tumbleweeds of hair everywhere. It was driving me nuts. I felt like every time I turned around I had to vacuums. I was literally looking for another home for Luna. I was over the hair and constant vacuuming. Than a friend got me the Roomba. I would have never have bought one on my own. I just thought there's no way those things can work. Wow, I could not have been more wrong. I love it. To say it's changed my life would be an understatement. I have it programmed to run every night at 2am while we're asleep. It leaves the wood floors spotless. No hair anywhere. We walk around bare foot and the floors are always clean now. I was blown away. When we leave for the day I bring it upstairs to do the bedrooms which are carpeted. I still vacuum the carpet with the vacuum on the weekend. It gets deeper but Higgins gets the dog hair during the week on the carpet extremely well. Absolute game changer. Highly recommend.

It does a great job. We have to start it our selves, no scheduling capabilities. We will never have smartphones. I would not have bought this new one if we knew that was needed! Good thing its the downstairs robot and not used every day like the one upstairs! I am really ok , just think it should be obvious for older people to have that info.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The iRobot does a pretty good job. There is a lot of dust and debris that builds up in the corners and along the baseboards of our hallways and it does a good of getting it all. I was surprised that it does not get stuck and maneuvers around shoes, bags, etc. on the floor. Only downside is sometimes when in an enclosed space (galley kitchen) it'll get stuck in a pattern and will have difficulty getting out of it.

I live in a small one bedroom apartment and I'm a bit of a neat freak. When I vacuum, I always vacuum evenly and make patterns. I think it looks nice and also shows that it's vacuumed. After having this thing for a little over a month, I find it useless. Most of the time it ends up under the kitchen table and bounces back and forth in between the chair legs until the battery is drained. It sometimes returns to base, other times it doesn't. When I'm home and I direct it away from the table and chairs it seems to not have any direction on cleaning. It often covers the same spots again and again, leaving other places untouched. I've had it for over a month and it's really scuffed up from all the bumping into objects. It also gets caught up on mats, kitchen and bathroom and cords. With all these issues, I think, no big deal there's an app, I could adjust settings. So, today I search through the app and there's nothing. Only start a job and schedule a time. Seriously? What happened to dirt detection?

It is handy and saves time! However it gets lost easily and hard to find! Should have a bell or beeping sound when stuck to find it! It gets stuck on my fringe on my carpets . It misses spits even when I sweep a little pile of what it missed it still passes it by!

5/5 stars recommend! It makes it easier on everyone by using these robots! You do not have to do much to get them started, and you can do it from the comfort of your bed or school or work with the app. I originally got them to help my mom out with the cleaning, and we all have back pain at some point. This little bot makes everything so much easier getting under the beds so we do not have to bend down and clean with the vacuum extender, which can be hard getting all the spots when you can barely see under the bed's darkness. I use these bots daily, and they last for a long time as I have had mine for almost a year and no complaints. I am thinking of even getting another iRobot vacuum to get the job done quicker.
