It does a great job picking up everything, even insane amounts of pet hair. However, it would often get a bit lost going back to dock and once it docked itself it didn’t charge properly and would often have a hard time linking up to the dock to actually charge itself. Even if I adjusted it myself I had a hard time getting the green light to stay on which indicated it was charging. For this reason, I returned.

bought this couple years ago. plugged it in but didn't hold charge from the start! doesn't even pick up anything off the floor. Sometimes it'll go to the charging pad but most times it doesn't and the robot doesn't charge! somethings wrong with the robot and the charging station.

Does not work for larger, active homes. Might be good for office or small apartment. Seriously, why does a modern robot vac not have mapping?! It goes over same spots multiple times while missing others. Also, unlike the advertising, it WILL NOT go over shag rugs, it turns right around!! Frequently wedges itself under kitchen cabinets and arm chairs. I dont know why it can't sense when it is wedging itself under a ledge. Why, iRobot? WHY?! Seriously, needs a smart update to its programming and the addition of a mapping function. Otherwise works ok but have to run it while we are away since it is LOUD, about as loud as our Shark upright vacuum cleaner. They must be able to make a quiter version!

This Roomba was a great deal price wise. While I get very confused with all the different model numbers and I can’t really see that it has more functions than my current model has, it was the instant savings that sold me. The only complaint I have is that the darn thing does not have a lift handle to take to another room,etc. I’m amazed how much this thing picks up. I’m an everyday cleaner and have been vacuuming for 50+ years. It’s a joy to let these guys do their thing.

Used it for the first time today....I figured if it don't cough and die during all the dog hair, we might have a good product. Well the verdict is....it did GREAT! I've already named her Matilda and she will cut down on major vacumning but especially trying to get under softas, chairs and the beds. She came out unscathed!! Way to go Matilda!
