I was very skeptical about Roomba until I started seeing my friends homes cleaned by it, so I decided to give it a try and for my surprise it does a great job! I am amazed about this little robot, now I tell everyone to give it a try, it's so good to have the floor always clean, it makes me clean everything else more often and now my home is always clean and fresh.

We bought our first Roomba about a year ago and was impressed at the job Rosie did. We have 2 cats and wife with allergies. I always thought we kept a pretty clean house but every time I ran our first unit I was amazed how much hair and dust it picked up even when things looked clean. We added Lilly to do our downstairs a couple of months ago and she is doing great. I run each one every other day on different schedules. We have hardwood upstairs and tile downstairs with one area rug in our living room. Both Rosie and Lilly can go under our furniture but every once and while they tend to get lost and not make it home to recharge. I like to empty dust bin after every use but when I have been out of town they seem to do fine even running 2 or 3 times without emptying. They make mopping the floor much easier and faster as we do not need to sweep the floors prior to mopping. Floors are much cleaner and allergies seem a bit better. They are a bit loud when running but after the first week the cats got used to them and sleep through both when they are running. Definitely a super time saver!

We just got this for xmas. We have two large Bernese Mtn dogs. They shed constantly. I was using a large shop vac because the other vacuum gets clogged so quickly. But I did not vacuum every day either. With Roomba I set it for every day and just have to clean it before the next day. And it is much easier to clean than shark vacuum.

I use the IRobot to vacuum floors while I am busy, and then can re-vacuum later. It picks up things that would clog my regular vacuum, but doesn't do well with the pet hair. I generally have to clean out the brushes and empty it multiple times. I wish it had a remote control to steer it with.

I have mine on a tri weekly schedule. My a/c filter is staying clean longer, health at home is 100% better. I own two large dogs.. and boy oh boy does this robot pick up tons of dog hair. Battery drains super fast on carpet due to drag. It does miss some spots as it does not map your home like other units. But it has helped tremendously in helping keep my home clean.

I really like the day to day cleaning of my hardwood floors and bathroom tile. This cuts down on dust and hair which apparently I shed often. Downside is it gets stuck on my bathmat and random things like socks so you do have to be a cleaner/neater person in general and this is just an aid to keep things tidy.

Overall not bad for general area. It does not cover the area thoroughly. We have white tile throughout the house. So things stand out against the white. Between the Robo & handheld vacuum, we manage. It is just an OK unit nothing to jump up & down for.

5/5 stars recommend! It makes it easier on everyone by using these robots! You do not have to do much to get them started, and you can do it from the comfort of your bed or school or work with the app. I originally got them to help my mom out with the cleaning, and we all have back pain at some point. This little bot makes everything so much easier getting under the beds so we do not have to bend down and clean with the vacuum extender, which can be hard getting all the spots when you can barely see under the bed's darkness. I use these bots daily, and they last for a long time as I have had mine for almost a year and no complaints. I am thinking of even getting another iRobot vacuum to get the job done quicker. Honestly, I was skeptical that it would work good. But those worries went out the door when I tried it for the first time. I have a 1 1/2 yr old who throws food to the floor or leaves crumbs when he eats snacks and this picks them up so effortlessly! I have a husband who brings in his muddy work boots and leaves mud and it picks it up like nothing! Honestly want to buy all the irobot products.

I like the product but trying to figure out how not to make it just bounce around and miss spots. I have blocked off rooms and that helps. It does however have really good cleaning power on hard woods and I love that it does not get stuck on area rugs and vacuums them well. Overall I am happy with the product. The fact that it will go under beds and couches is worth the weird spot missing issues.
