I usually buy choice but they were sold out so I bought Prime filet mignons which I don't like to do because they're even more expensive and I don't see the difference. The steaks are always so delicious and my family loves them.

I bought two 4-packs. Half of them were super tender. Half of them couldn't be fully eaten because of the gristle. Disappointing, especially for the price and for PRIME beef.

I always buy your prime Angus filet mignon. The taste has always been very consistently tremendous. However this batch was not quite as good as all the others I had purchased in the past.

These prime filet mignon were fantastic. They were already trimmed so I wasn’t paying for stuff I wouldn’t eat. Each filet had nice marbling so it was juicy and super tender. I would buy filets from Sam’s again.

With steaks a room temperature, we coated them with kosher salt and let them sit for 45 minutes before grilling to medium rare. They were flavorful and tender. Will definitely buy again.

Hit and miss. Sometimes they’re great, but I’ve also had these tenderloins come out tasting like hot dogs. For the price, this is unacceptable. I eat a lot of steak, and use thermometers to reverse sear them, so the cooking is not the issue.

I was somewhat disappointed by both the texture and taste. I expected this to have a somewhat better flavor and feel than a choice cut but this wasn't so.

Prices are high everywhere but this was a special occasion to celebrate. I don’t mind paying for the restaurant experience at home and this fit the bill. If you feel like splurging on something this will make you feel better.

Really bad !!! 1) you get four pieces: A very nice 6 oz steak; about a 4 oz steak and then trimmings of 1 to 2 oz pieces together for your last 2 steaks 2) look closely; have you ever gotten a filet mignon in a restaurant that was divided into two parts by a strip of grizzel ? 3) very, very poorly trimmed has lots of waste; our dog got at least a fourth of the meat! 4) after sever trimming the eatable meat was actually good but how do you cook a 3" thick 6 oz piece of meat at the same time as a 1" thick 2 oz piece of meat ????????????

The price and taste of this is excellent. What was not excellent was out of the four steaks in the package 2 turned out to be end pieces but were in the middle of the four so I did not notice that until I was home. The ends should have been used for stew beef or ground beef, not presented as steaks. So the price I paid ended up basically doubling. But my dogs ate well that night.
