The Steaks I purchased we terrible - lots of gristle. I purchase steaks at least 5 times a year from Sam's, and they are always delicious and NEVER have gristle. Not sure what happened with this batch.

Prime is where you gotta be to really enjoy beef - Sam's has the good stuff. Prices still somewhat reasonable for Prime Beef. Still, a 50% OFF SALE would be appreciated!!

I’m a frequent buyer of Sam’s filet’s. The last batch did not taste like the prime steaks I usually get. They had a strong iron like flavor and were not tender

The issue with these is they are inconsistent. Sometimes absolutely outstanding and sometimes tough and not so flavorful. Sam's is our go-to place to buy meat, but this meat is so expensive per pound that we expect it to ALWAYS be good

This was not the usual quality. They had a lot of fat and gristle. For $45 for 2 lbs this is poor. The taste was good but about 30% was not edible by us or our pups.

This was the first time we bought meat from Sams and we couldn't have been happier. It was tender and delicious. And you cannot beat the prices there.

Purchased this product many times before and thoroughly enjoyed it. This time however, the meat was strewn with muscle fibers and some gristle. Disappointing.

I usually get very good cuts of meat with these packages, but there was a significant amount of tough gristle in two of the four steaks in my last purchase. I hope this isn't a trend.

Wow! Even better than expected! Very generous thick cuts and cost less per pound than the whole tenderloin (and I didn’t have to do the cutting and trimming!) So delicious and thoroughly enjoyed by all!

I have bought Filet at other High End grocery stores. They could never compare with what I got in Restaurants. These were every bit as tender as any I have had.
