The steaks I received were gristly, never expected that! Very disappointed especially for the price I paid for them. I splurged on these.

Always wonderfully tasty! But, always buy 1 more than you need. There is always one, when turned over, is mostly fat and gristle.

Prime Meat- best deal around. It can be difficult to find 4 good steaks- they always put 1 not so great one in. The cutters need more training.

The cut is perfect-center cut, trimmed perfect, beautiful marble and all are same size-8oz my preference. Usually each varies greatly in size, that's bad. I have purchased filets at many more expensive stores-this is my go to know!

The issue with these is they are inconsistent. Sometimes absolutely outstanding and sometimes tough and not so flavorful. Sam's is our go-to place to buy meat, but this meat is so expensive per pound that we expect it to ALWAYS be good

Filet was horrible. $71 of supposed good meat, wife mixed it with hamburger and ground it up. Still bad but edible with lots of condiments. I love filet but this was worse than any meat I have esten

This was not the usual quality. They had a lot of fat and gristle. For $45 for 2 lbs this is poor. The taste was good but about 30% was not edible by us or our pups.
