Top Beef Filet Mignon

I’ve had these steaks several times . Sometimes excellent sometimes not so good . Had them yesterday for my birthday and literally half of the meat was so grizzly we couldn’t even chew it. Very dissatisfied.

Great Beef

My bad for buying the filets twice. Both times when turned over had home was nothing but fat and silver skin in the bottom. It’s horrible to pay that much money for fat. Butchers need to be taught to cut meat instead of charge for fat. Will never buy filets here again.

Filets not filleted!

These were so good. I grilled for 5 minutes on each side and they were medium-rare. They were so delicious and like totally melted in your mouth. All I used was a little SPG (salt, pepper, garlic) and a salt-free steak seasoning. Melted a slice of butter on them right after I pulled them off the grill. You woulda thought you died and went to heaven, they were so good.
