I know that Filet Mignon is a bit pricey, but I was fed up buying other steaks and getting more grizzle than expected. My husband purchased a pack of these months ago and they were so delicious. We have purchased Filets from other stores but they aren't as good as Sam's steaks. They are very lean and tender and with a pack of 4 we get two meals.

To me it's the best steak and I like that I can get prime, but frankly, choice is almost as good in the tenderloin cut and less costly. What I don't quite understand is why the beef is not quite as good as it was before COVID. It's also pretty pricy, but we don't eat it that often so it's manageable.

Bought a couple of these for family coming in from out of town. We cooked them from Rare to butterflied medium. Everyone said it was the best steak they had!! For this pack of steaks, if there was a category above Prime, these would need to be in it!!

These are the tenderest tenderloins I have found anywhere I look for the package with the smallest pieces because they are easier to cook and have less chance of a tendon gristle hiding on the back side. I generally cut them with a fork while I'm eating.

Always buy this product, maybe the last 5 years, several times a year, but was disappointed with the taste / flavor of the last steaks I bought. Just was not as good as it has been in the past. Looked the same, smelled the same, grilled the same, just did not have the same mild flavor.

The chain meat is left attached. I only buy the packs from the small end without that waste. The pkg says filet mignon, which never has that waste attached. It adds weight and makes the price per pound more for edible meat. The tenderloin is great, just be aware the price is not as good as it seems.

The filet was cut well. It did not have excess fat, but just enough so that the beef was not a dry cut. We recently ordered a filet at a restaurant, and unfortunately it was not good, it had a very dry taste, even though it was not overcooked. Our home-cooked filet from Sam's came out perfect, not dry at all, juicy and tender. We will purchase again.

We have bought several filets at Sam’s Club and have been very happy with them until this time. We were excited to grill and enjoy our steaks and when we cut them they were full of gristle and not tender. Flavor wasn’t there either. Wonder what happened? Now, not so sure about buying them.

We started eating these steaks a couple of years ago when we moved away from our previous meat market. Then we tried the prime filet at Sams, Absolutely the perfect steak for us! Tender, juicy, and full of flavor! Our go to steak, price is very reasonable too. One recommendation, shop these in store so you can choose the package that is right for you. Weights can vary greatly and we do find a difference in the fat trimming at times.

I tried the MM prime beef and I was impressed. The texture, flavor, grissle, and mabling was perfect. I had already decided to never buy the Choice grade Sams club beef again do to the poor quality. Between home and my employer, I have had many oppotunities to eat the MM choice grade steaks. It was always a dissapointment. Thanks for supplying a palletable cut of beef with the Prime grade beef.
