To me it's the best steak and I like that I can get prime, but frankly, choice is almost as good in the tenderloin cut and less costly. What I don't quite understand is why the beef is not quite as good as it was before COVID. It's also pretty pricy, but we don't eat it that often so it's manageable.

Looked good on the top side, but underneath the steaks were divided into small chunks by large veins of hard fat. These were not just cut wrongly, they were packaged to deliberately hide it. This was not four steaks, but more than eight steak "pieces".

Taste and tenderness was unexpected pleasure

The Prime beef at Sams is outstanding, always tender and flavorful. Its worth the extra cost
