Have purchased this product for YEARS. The package I picked up in March 2022 has fillets half the size of the previous packages. Fillets were thinner in width, thinner in thickness ~ 1/4” thick or less on ends, and 1/2” in the center. Many of the fillets have the dark color also. Extremely disappointed.

Great flavor

I bought this item thinking that I was buying boneless salmon fillets as it says boneless on the package. After I found a couple bones in the first piece, I ignored it. The next day I ate another piece and found several bones in it as well. I pushed the bones aside but as I got another piece and bit down, a bone got stuck in between my gum and my last tooth in the very back. It took me a while to get it out as the bone was short and I could not see it in my mouth. Very dangerous. I'm never buying this salmon again

It has a funny taste

To be fair before I realized Sam's sold "caged grown salmon" I loved this product. I now try to factor in future possible causes and effects to show respect for surviving cancer and it has been many years since I could buy a freshly caught salmon at the local markets, so I'm at a loss for where I will find a budget-kind option going forward but I will not risk hearing my health as it doesn't take much reading to find reliable sources talking about Chile's salmon farmer are being found using record levels of antibiotics to treat virulents and other pervasive bacteria. Having boundaries with foods that are supposed to be good for you, is another example of how profit (the dollars) is valued higher than the life it is for.

Very GOOD salmon.

I've been particularly impressed with the latest batch of these salmon portions. Notably, Member's Mark has listened to customer feedback and adjusted the seasoning, striking the perfect balance that enhances the natural flavor of the salmon without overwhelming it. Previously, there were concerns about the fillets being too spicy, but this has been addressed beautifully in the current offerings.

I have been buying this for my family for about 4 years now. We have enjoyed the fresh tasting salmon in spite of it being a costly item in our grocery list. The past two bags I purchased were ridiculous, the filets looked like half of the filets we used to get, HALF! I guess we will have to buy the bag of Salmon from Costco now, as we cannot afford this the way it is now.

Nice, thick fillets, fairly consistent in size, with a mild taste. Great pan seared, seasoned with Adobo seasoning (my personal favorite), or marinated and poached in orange juice. We get our Omega-3's on at least once a week with Member's Mark Atlantic Salmon and pick up a package or two every time I shop at Sam's. I've purchased these multiple times and have been always been satisfied with the quality and portion size.
