I’ve been buying these for years but without warning the product has decreased in quality by a lot. However, the price is still the same. I went back and bout another hoping I just got a bad bag the first time but no. They are now lighter in color and have a mushier texture.

Not usually a fan of frozen salmon, but these portions are really tasty. Texture is closer to fresh than most frozen salmon portions, and keep very well. I have repeated bought these and enjoy them baked with a topping of equal parts of mayo and sour cream with fresh dill mixed in and baked. Delicious

The 2.5 pound bag of Sam's Club frozen Atlantic Salmon filets comes individually wrapped in freezer grade plastic, and there are six to seven pieces per bag. When I meal prep, I just put two frozen pieces in a bowl of room-temperature tap water for about 20 minutes to thaw. Then, I remove the fish from the plastic pouch, rinse lightly, season, and pop in the air fryer for 15 minutes at 360 degrees. We eat the Salmon at least three times per week so I will change up on the seasoning but garlic is always a must. I combine the garlic with fresh thyme, or rosemary from my garden. Sometimes I will switch up and use dill weed. I like to sautee a large onion in a little butter or olive oil and spoon that over the fish for another flavor experience. One piece per serving.

Not the same as previously sold in 3lb bag. This ‘new’ members mark Atlantic salmon must come from a different part of the Atlantic than its members mark predecessor. It’s very light pink vs. the previous version that was a deep pink and was the best frozen salmon around (we’ve used previous version for several years…see pic). The taste difference is obvious.

In addition to other aspects, my main review is that they are delicious!! The packaging is very convenient by being individually freeze-wrapped in personal-sized but sufficient portions. They can be perfectly cooked in several ways and can be used in various types of recipes.

I buy this product weekly due to the great Omega 3s they provide for mental health. However, these are NOT the same as the previous frozen Salmon Filets - much less healthy. The previous product was from the very clean waters of Scandanavia, raised in large sea cages with a "density" of only a 2.5% by volume total occupancy of salmon. This new product has NO DATA on the density and I can't find that data. It IS grown in the waters off Chile which, if at the far south (Patagonia), at least the water would be cold and clean, but it doesn't SAY Patagonia. The filets are otherwise the same size as what we are used to.

This is so great. I'll grab a filet to thaw in the fridge and the next day I'll lightly bread it and toss it into the pan. Simple and delicious. It's convenient that each filet is individually packaged so you don't have to cook a ton of food if it's just for one person. I totally recommend this!

This salmon is every bit as good as whole the side of salmon that you can purchase in Sam's meat section of the store. I used to mess around with the whole side and portion it into filet strips much like the illustration on the package. Buying the salmon already portioned saves lot of prep time. Defrost, marinate, grill and eat. So why the three star rating? The photo on the bag is very misleading. All of the portions are not cut evenly as the photo indicates. The thin tapered tail end makes up a portion on what's in the bag and hardly enough to make a meal out of. If all of the portions were like the illustration leads you to believe it would have earned a five star rating for sure.

I’ve bought this brand several times . Reason for buying was the count of salmon . Package should have 10 servings but each time I’ve purchased the bag has come up short ! The bag only has between 6 to 7 pc’s of salmon . The salmon is of good quality but dollar value is not what the packaging states.

These salmon fillets are tasty and easy to cook in the air fryer. Adding a favorite marinade really ups the flavor.
