After I found a couple bones in the first piece, I ignored it. The next day I ate another piece and found several bones in it as well. I pushed the bones aside but as I got another piece and bit down, a bone got stuck in between my gum and my last tooth in the very back. It took me a while to get it out as the bone was short and I could not see it in my mouth. Very dangerous. I'm never buying this salmon again

I now try to factor in future possible causes and effects to show respect for surviving cancer and it has been many years since I could buy a freshly caught salmon at the local markets, so I'm at a loss for where I will find a budget-kind option going forward but I will not risk hearing my health as it doesn't take much reading to find reliable sources talking about Chile's salmon farmer are being found using record levels of antibiotics to treat virulents and other pervasive bacteria. Having boundaries with foods that are supposed to be good for you, is another example of how profit (the dollars) is valued higher than the life it is for.

I've purchased these multiple times and have been always been satisfied with the quality and portion size.
